Contento Cafe

I’ve been in Salt Lake City for about a month trying different places to eat, and this is the first one that truly impressed me. The food is packed with flavor and the tastes are perfectly balanced. Everything came out in less than five minutes, which was amazing. So far, this is easily my favorite place in the city. Highly recommend! I ordered Christmas chilaquiles with birria.

This place is a hidden(but shouldn’t be) gem in salt lake. With an entirely gluten free menu there’s no worry I might consume something contaminated with gluten which makes me super sick. And the food was SO GOOD! The owner chatted us up and every employee we made contact with was chill and kind. Will definitely be going back! Kenny and JuJu were the best servers!

They mightve been the best enchiladas ive ever had. The green sauce was very flavorful, beans and rice were great and it seems the ingredients are all organic. Drinks seemed ok but the food was definitely the star of the show. It was so good we went back and tried something else. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back

Oh my gosh! I have found my favorite Mexican restaurant! The food they serve is actually healthy and so delicious! They make their own corn tortillas with heritage corn, none of that hybridized crap every one else uses. The food is gluten and seed oil free, its all natural right down to the eggs they use! You can eat here without regrets! You'll leave with a smile. The staff are friendly and attentive. I think you'll love it!

Wow! What an amazing lunch, I ordered the shrimp tacos and my friend ordered the cheese enchiladas. The corn tortillas are to die for and there’s something in the tacos that gave it a bit of sweetness. I asked the server and she said it was a secret but my goodness, it’s phenomenal. I got a spicy Margarita, the perfect amount of kick, and wonderfully made. The guacamole is 10/10. It’s a little loud so conversation was a bit difficult, but we must’ve come during the lunch rush. Service is quick, there was a woman and a man up front and they were so kind and cracked jokes with us. Great first date place, great lunch spot. Thank you Contento!
