Crema's Take

Nestled just off the Taos plaza, this bean-to-bar chocolate haven crafts luxurious drinking chocolates and silky French mousses that rival high-end chocolatiers at a fraction of the price, using carefully sourced organic cacao you can learn about right on their walls. The intimate space invites you to linger over their creations on outdoor benches—whether you're savoring a velvety mousse bar, exploring their artisanal chocolate bars in unexpected flavors like mandarin oil, or pairing pastries like their sourdough chocolate creation with a rich cup of drinking chocolate.

Damn delicious luxury chocolates. Truly memorable treats for less than Starbucks. Try the drinking chocolate and fresh mousse. This place is a no brainer, must see spot if you find yourself near the plaza.

It’s a cute little place. There are a few seats against the wall so you’ll have to take advantage of the benches outside. They have an explanation of the bean to bar process of the cacao on the wall. They also have drawings on the ceiling of the cacao pods. They offer lots of chocolate bars, mousse, cakes, coffee, etc. I opted for their flourless cake. It was so good that I want to come back and get more and also try their other items. The staff were efficient so you didn’t have to wait too long. I highly recommend this place.

Oh my! Organic bean to bar chocolate heaven! The French chocolate mousse bar? Whipped perfection. Cakes on offer were hard to decide on… We landed on the vegan olive oil cake yet the sourdough chocolate cake with espresso buttercream looked divine. Paired with an excellent espresso. Best dessert in a long time.

Had to visit after my Airbnb host in La Veta recommended the origin source chocolate here .. so delicious! I tried the mandarin oil dark chocolate bar and apart from the taste, I’m in love with the packaging. So lovely 🙏

What a special gem just off the Taos plaza! We bought several bars that we loved, but most of all the mousse bar was our favorite! We came back every day of our visit to get a new flavor. The servings are small, but they are so rich and flavorful, you're more than satisfied. Just delicious.
