Crema's Take

Nestled in Taos, Poco Loco is a genuinely beloved local haunt where excellent coffee and house-made pastries meet an irresistibly eclectic vibe—think local art on the walls, great music playing, and the kind of cheerful service that makes travelers feel like they've discovered something special. Whether you're claiming a spot under the trees, settling into the covered porch, or grabbing a breakfast burrito and cinnamon roll, there's a real sense of community here that goes beyond the usual coffee shop experience. This is the kind of place where people actually linger, not just because the drinks are solid, but because the whole atmosphere invites you to stay awhile.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu.

Fun, eclectic atmosphere with local arts and crafts for sale. Good music, good cheerful service, good coffee though it could have been hotter. The chocolate muffin was moist and tasty. I would have preferred a deeper chocolate flavor.

Tim and I enjoyed the best breakfast burrito, coffee and cinnamon roll. Your hospitality was amazing. Traveling through from Texas. What a great place! Hidden gem. So glad we stopped! Thank you!!

Great place to grab a bite or some necessities. Don't sleep on the Green Chile Cheeseburger. Inside, covered porch, and tables under the trees.
