Blue Moon Cafe and Coffee Bar

I use to live right downtown and was regular to this place. The owner is an amazing person the staff is also so friendly and good at what they do! I was sober when I lived downtown and treated the staff here like my new found bartenders. They filled the role perfectly I love them all ! Coffee is great pastries are great ! Always had nice conversation with staff and other guests .

Ordered the breakfast burrito. Was very busy Sunday morning, order at the counter and took around 40 minutes to come out. The side potatoes on the BLT dish are excellent!

Wonderful coffee bar and bagels also serving breakfast plates. Nice soft music. Very pleasant place.

Have you saw a more perfect looking breakfast!? This is quickly becoming my go-to Morgantown breakfast spot. The biscuits and gravy were excellent and the London Fog was seriously my favorite. Chill vibes and a fun atmosphere top off this sweet shop.

The space is open and bright with large front windows that let in natural light, a mix of table seating and bar stools, and plenty of plants adding a cozy touch. Soft, low music plays in the background, creating a calm environment without being too quiet. They offer free Wi-Fi, making it a great spot for studying, remote work, or catching up with friends. Outdoor seating is also available for nice-weather days. They serve breakfast in the mornings until 2 PM, which is a nice bonus for late risers. Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) There was one young woman working behind the counter during my visit. She wasn’t overly welcoming, but she was efficient and attentive to her work. Orders were prepared in a timely manner, and when she wasn’t helping customers, she stayed busy cleaning and taking care of other tasks. Food & Drink: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I ordered my go-to drink — an iced caramel macchiato. It was solid and well-balanced, with a good caramel flavor and smooth espresso. While it may not be the absolute best I’ve ever had, it was definitely better than many I’ve tried elsewhere. I enjoyed it enough that I’d happily order it again without hesitation. Overall: Blue Moose Coffeehouse is a cool, relaxed place to grab a drink, get some work done, or just hang out. Whether you’re strolling through Morgantown, exploring downtown, or a WVU student looking for a study spot, this is worth a stop.
