Crema's Take
“He Brews Coffee is a hidden gem in West Sacramento that nails the cozy, low-pressure vibe with record players, comfortable seating, and genuinely excellent espresso drinks like their white chocolate cold brew. The space feels genuinely home-like rather than corporate, with clean, personality-filled interiors where locals gather for quality coffee, reasonably priced pastries, and light food without pretension. It's exactly the kind of accidental discovery that makes you wonder how you missed it before, and you'll likely find yourself becoming a regular among the welcoming community that's already adopted it as their neighborhood hub.”

I found this place be accident and am so happy I did. What a cute, cozy little spot to enjoy coffee and eat some food. Had a latte and bagel with cream cheese. Both were great and reasonably priced. The offer a cute, cozy lounge are with a couch and all to enjoy your items. They also have paintings you can enjoy viewing and are available for sale.
Great hidden coffee spot in sacramento. Haven’t been around west sac as much for the coffee scene and this place honestly surprised me. 1. Great clean interior with personality. The place just makes you feel relaxed and at home. 2. Customer service is great. 3. Restroom is awesome - amazingly clean and brand new looking restroom. I wish all coffee shop restrooms were this well maintained 4. Great tea selection - I often get herbals teas and they have am interesting selection that I don’t often see in places like temple or old soul 5. Great seating with tables and couches. 6. Not insanely busy 7. The costs provide amazing value in relation to what you are getting. Highly recommend.
Awesome spot! Got the white chocolate cold brew and it was excellent! The atmosphere is chilled and laid back with a really cool setup. Even a record player and some comfy sit down spots. The service was excellent, super friendly and very fast. Highly highly recommend for a good coffee and something to eat.

The short story: very much a home-like environment, low pressure, not any blaring music just chill vibes, great coffee, good food and comfortable seating. Also: it's a community hub. They have this sock donation bin for the needy, right now, that people seem to really be supporting. I love that. That fact alone gets a bonus 💖 What I ordered: medium coffee and the Hammy Eggar (everything bagel breakfast sandwich with ham and egg and cheese). The coffee: It's rare when I don't have to touch up a cup with something to make it feel right. Their cold brew didn't need anything - I did choose to sweeten it but that's only because I was having a rough morning and wanted something sweet. The Hammy Eggar: Straight up? It's the very-high end of what I'd expect to get from a coffee shop. A top-5 breakfast sandwich in the area, in general, and there's some real stiff competition for that crown. They pannini press the bagel with the egg (which is cooked just right - not runny, not overdone) and they put actual ham in there, not just deli meat from a grocery store. The ham does ride over the top of the experience, but it doesn't completely crowd out everything else. I have celiac, and this place doesn't have celiac friendly options, but I figured I've been taking a week to just let myself do what I want. $9 is a good price point for what you get, given how prices have gone up these days everywhere. The biggest measure of praise I can give a restaurant or food service spot is: was it worth the gluten exposure, and the risk of what is going to happen to happen to me later? And in this case, yes (NOTE: I do not ever advise intentionally dosing yourself like this - I am not making a smart choice by doing this, but I also do not regret making the stupid choice when the food is this good). The experience: like I said at the start, it's very chill. The guy at the front was very patient and kind even as I was hemming and hawing over what to order. He cooked it himself, served it himself - all in all a great experience and vibe here. I could write in this space (and they have a mic setup so I'm guessing they do small events here, which I'll gladly look into). I think the strongest measure of a place like this is: would I go out of my way for it? I would. I would choose it over a lot of different spaces, even though it is a little out of the way of where I normally go. So, go here, because you're a damn silly goose if you don't.
