Crema's Take
“This place is banking hard on being a quiet, hotel-adjacent spot for work sessions, but the thin track record (just 4 reviews) shows real inconsistency: some people praise the vibe and friendliness, while others hit problems like unavailable menu items, annoyed staff, weak matcha, and prices that feel steep for Charlottesville. You're not risking much by trying it, but go in expecting café basics rather than specialty coffee standouts.”
What to expect
Strong matcha and tea selection. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings.

The matcha latte is just awful, stay away, it does not even look green. The ambiance is pleasant and quiet though. The service is not too quick. The prices are surprisingly high (new york city level)
Mocha on menu, but not available. Staff was less than helpful, they were annoyed that I asked for service and interrupted the cleaning they were doing. Should I ever stay at the Graduate, I now know better than to get my morning cup of joe at Poindexter Coffee
Wonderful coffee shop attached to a hotel. Many classic cafe options and super friendly staff!
