Colectivo Coffee Prospect Ave
2211 N Prospect Ave, Milwaukee, WI
Crema's Take
“This bright, naturally lit Colectivo outpost on Prospect Ave is a spacious haven for both lingering conversations and focused work sessions, thanks to abundant skylights and windows paired with flexible seating options. Their pour overs are the real draw here—expertly executed and worth savoring—though the food offerings and inconsistent execution across the menu have left some regulars feeling the quality has drifted over time. If you're an espresso-focused or pour-over devotee who values a thoughtful atmosphere over quick convenience, this is worth a visit, especially if you arrive early to snag a sunny spot.”

Come here if you want only part of your drink that you spent $6+ ! Better off going to Starbucks or any other local coffee shop. Only gave it a 2nd star because their food here is good. Kept coming back even after they messed up multiple times but this is insane. My drink shouldn’t be 1/3 whipped cream (it melted but really shows how much they actually filled your cup).
This is a beautiful coffee shop. They have lots of space to chat or work. They have a lot of natural light through sky lights and windows. The coffee is obviously Colectivo…which I like. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a go-to spot for leisurely weekends!
I used to really enjoy this colectivo, but this place has done downhill steadily over the years. Today I ordered a chorizo burrito and they gave me a salsa cup with an ant-sized serving size, significantly smaller than it used to be. I also ordered a latte and got a latte with a laughable amount of foam. I thought that maybe they accidentally made an americano, but nope, the label on it says latte. This location increases prices, while providing sub-par drinks, reduced serving sizes, and poor service. There are much better cafes you can spend your money at.
I think the coffee and prices are better than Starbucks, the service was good, and the atmosphere is great. Theirs indoor and outdoor seating. You can also purchase coffee to make at home. Theirs a wider selection of things to eat here than Starbucks. The coffee I had tasted great 👍
Bacon 🥓 biscuit = not worth the 940 calories Love Supreme pour over coffee ☕️ = 5 ⭐️’s and reminds me of the original Starbucks in Seattle where I always order the Pike Place pour over. Watching the pour over process never fails to captivate me in a meditative like state too! Sportea = excellent energizing iced tea Colectivo Coffee has plenty of seating, wonderful WiFi, helpful staff(Sean was great!), and an awesome selection of coffee, shirts, teas, and other gifts for sale.
