EAT eggs and toast
4800 McDonald Rd, Syracuse, NY
Crema's Take
“This cozy corner spot in Syracuse has mastered the art of the elevated breakfast sandwich, with reviewers raving about their frittatas, hot honey biscuits, and creative drinks like the Dubai chocolate mocha. The cold brew is genuinely excellent—smooth and strong—and the kitchen clearly prioritizes fresh ingredients and generous portions, though you might want to settle in for a bit since quality takes time. It's exactly the kind of place where you'll want to linger with a good coffee and pastry, whether you're meeting a friend or grabbing something special before work.”

The food was amazing!! Great service and the portions were great. Will definitely be back.
It’s a very nice spot tucked in the corner of the plaza. The food taste amazing. I’m not sure if they just dont have a lot of cooks though because it does take a bit of time to get the food. They are all super nice and if you need something they will help. Overall a great place to go.
Some of the best breakfast I have had in a long time! I got the frittata and a Dubai chocolate mocha and both where delicious 😋. The frittata ingredients where all fresh and not greasy. The staff was amazing and quick! Will definitely be my Saturday morning spot ❤️
Ordered an egg and cheese with some hot honey on a biscuit to-go. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and came out hot and fresh. I also enjoyed a black cold brew which was strong & smooth. It was the perfect pick-me-up after dropping my dog off for surgery at the Vet around the corner. The woman who took my order was kind & the service was swift. Looking forward to visiting again!
The name of the restaurant is an acronym for Eggs And Toast which is appropriate because many items on the menu include toast and some form of cooked eggs. I ordered corned beef hash and fried eggs with whole wheat toast. It's unlikely the hash is made on site, but it still tasted pretty good, and the eggs were properly cooked 'over-medium' so when I cut into them, the yolks ran into the hash as intended. A little ketchup enhanced the combination. Their Recess decaf coffee, locally roasted in DeWitt, NY, had some flavor, but was quite watery. No seconds were offered. My wife thought her breakfast pizza was the best she'd had in some time. If you're in the neighborhood, you can get a decent breakfast here, but there's a lot of competition in the area.
