My favorite coffee shop. Clean food, clean flavors, safe for my family to eat. The atmosphere is perfectly calm and inviting. The owners and staff are fantastic. Super sweet and caring Sausage gravy is the best! I am a snob for it… and it’s the only place around I approve of. Smash burger and chicken ceasar wrap are a must try as well! Everything is perfectly seasoned.
I came here for the first time to enjoy breakfast. I had the breakfast biscuit and it was the tastiest egg biscuit I have ever had. The atmosphere was mostly quiet and it was a great place to eat. I will definitely be coming back. Service was quick and I thoroughly enjoyed myself here.
I chose this place for me and my elderly husband because it was listed as one of Harrisonburgs ten quiet eating places. The burritos we ordered were delicious and definitely homemade with natural ingredients. But it was definitely NOT a quiet peaceful experience. We arrived around 11:30 and the tiny place was already packed, both handicapped parking spots already taken, I had to run my rollater across the parking lot. There was a very hand ramp to the door so that was good. There were no empty tables so we had to squeeze in under the vent in the corner with another person who was reading a book in all the din. When we asked the waitress to cut back the music volume she cheerfully did so. Thank you! Lots more people came in for lunch, mostly young people (college students?) and a couple of young ladies close by talked and laughed boisterously so we had to raise our voices to hear each other talk. All of the groups of 2 or 3 who came in had to share table space with others. If you want very tasty nutritious food, this is an excellent lunch place. If you want elbow rooms and quiet relaxing ambience, this is not your restaurant. It should not be listed as a quiet place to eat.
A Wonderful Anniversary Experience at Harvest Table!!!!! My husband and I recently celebrated our 19-year wedding anniversary in the area and decided to stop by a local spot we have been hearing buzz about called Harvest Table, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience!! Omg so delicious 😋 From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting—like walking into a family home. Everyone we encountered was so kind, loving, and genuinely happy to be there, which made the experience all the more special. The Coffee: A Divine Touch The coffee at Harvest Table is nothing short of spectacular. I ordered the brown sugar latte, and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. The flavor was rich, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. To my delight, the coffee came with a Bible verse printed on the cup, which I looked up—and it was just what I needed to hear at that moment. That thoughtful touch truly warmed my heart and added a personal layer of connection to the experience. We also tried the coffee flight, which was not only a feast for the taste buds but also visually stunning. Each coffee was crafted with care, and it was such a fun way to explore different flavors. I live in Ruckersville, and I would gladly travel over the mountain just for that coffee alone! The Food: Farm-to-Table Perfection!! We were hungry, so we decided to share two items: the chicken salad sandwich and the chicken Caesar wrap. Both were absolutely phenomenal. The chicken salad sandwich was a standout—it was clearly homemade, with a flavor that tasted like it was made with love. The bread, also homemade, was the perfect complement. My husband and I both agreed it was out-of-this-world good. I can’t imagine anyone not falling in love with that sandwich. The chicken Caesar wrap was equally delightful. The cheese inside was melty and warm, and the freshness of the ingredients reminded me of a true farm-to-table experience. Every bite was a testament to the quality and care that goes into the food at Harvest Table. The Atmosphere and Service What sets Harvest Table apart is the welcoming, homey atmosphere. This isn’t just a place to grab a quick bite—it's a place to sit, relax, and enjoy. The staff was attentive and friendly, and you could tell they genuinely enjoy working there. The owners, Blake and Belinda, clearly have a gift for creating a space where both staff and customers feel valued. It’s refreshing to see such great leadership in action. Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a place with amazing coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere, Harvest Table is a must-visit. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast, a unique lunch, or just a cup of coffee that will make your day, this place has it all. My husband and I are already planning our next visit—I might even find an excuse to stop by the next time I’m in the area! Highly recommend this hidden gem. It’s well worth the trip, and I’m sure you’ll leave with a full belly and a happy heart. If you haven't tried this place you're seriously missing out!!!!
My new favorite place! I’ve eaten here numerous times & everything I’ve had to eat is amazing. What makes me keep coming back is the beautiful people working here. They are nice, kind, courteous & compassionate. Each person working there brings something to the experience. While you’re there, buy a little bouquet of beautiful flowers for your boo thang and leave a note on the prayers & praises tree.
