Crema's Take
“525 Coffee Co. in Anaheim is a medium-roast focused spot where smooth, balanced espresso shines without the heavy bitterness you'd find at chains—reviewers rave about their precision with acidity and body. Beyond traditional coffee, they're known for adventurous signature drinks like black sesame oat lattes and salted maple cream cold brews that actually taste thoughtfully crafted, plus pastries like their not-too-sweet raspberry cake that pair perfectly with a long study session. It's a charming neighborhood café with genuine care in every cup, ideal if you want to discover something special without the pretension.”

I really enjoyed the coffee here. It’s smooth without being bitter, with a slight acidity that adds balance. I believe they used medium roast beans, so if you’re not a fan of Starbucks’ darker roast profile, this is definitely worth trying. The chairs and tables are very comfortable, making it a nice place to sit and relax. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Overall, I would recommend this spot.
Its a nice place to study. Co Coffee was good. I did not try the food.
S/O and I shared a raspberry cake, S/O ordered a salted maple cream cold brew and I ordered a hot black sesame oat latte. Both drinks are delicious! The cake was also not too sweet.
After a satisfying and filling lunch, my coffee-loving sister discovered this charming little coffee shop for us to visit. Nestled along a busy street, the café doesn’t offer its own parking lot, so we had to find street parking nearby—a small challenge that true coffee enthusiasts, like us, were more than willing to overcome for a promising cup. As we stepped inside, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee immediately filled the air, confirming that this was a place where the craft of coffee was taken seriously. My sister chose the Orange Bianco, an intriguing blend that paired the bright, zesty flavor of orange with rich, creamy coffee—an unexpected but delightful combination. I opted for the Spanish Latte, one of their 525 Signature Coffee offerings. Smooth, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced, it was absolutely delicious and satisfying without being overpowering. We couldn’t help but notice that the shop also offered a tempting selection of pastries, adding another reason for customers to linger and enjoy their time here. The space felt thoughtfully designed for real coffee lovers—those who are willing to put up with the slight inconvenience of street parking just to enjoy a quality, well-crafted brew.
Went with a friend for a cup of coffee, but decided to try something different than coffee so we selected the black sesame and charcoal drink, which you cans call coffee, I think. We both loved it. The color of the drink and how it matches with cup and saucer was very attractive. The design of the drink it self was appealing. The nutty taste of the drink was very delicious and full of flavor. The sweetness also was moderate .The drink itself needed to be a little bit hotter so it doesn’t go very fast, I mean it was so delicious to go fast. Would go again and try new drinks. ☺️
