Kick Butt Coffee truly feels like a slice of Austin culture under one roof. It’s not just a coffee shop—it’s coffee, tacos, chips and salsa, live music, and a full-on event venue all rolled into one energetic, slightly eclectic space. I’ve been here several times, both to hang out and to catch live shows, and it always delivers that laid-back, creative Austin vibe. The fact that you can grab a solid cup of coffee, enjoy snacks or a full breakfast, and later transition into live music or events makes it uniquely versatile. One of my favorites is their breakfast bowl, especially with the custom preparation options. It’s hearty, satisfying, and a great way to fuel a few productive hours. The space itself has a cozy feel that makes it easy to settle in with a laptop, work for a while, and not feel rushed. If you’re looking for a place where you can sip coffee, grab a bite, maybe catch a show, and soak in a bit of authentic Austin character, Kick Butt Coffee is definitely worth a visit.

Man, I don’t even know where to start. This is my new favorite music venue and I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. Everything was a 10 out of 10. Pizza? Awesome. Full bar? Great. THC drinks? Even better. Insanely good show? Absolutely. Shout out to Alisa for being very kind and generous with us. Also, enthronement puts on a damn good show. Will 100% be back.

My avocado toast is very yummy! Asked me great question to have my toast the way I’d like. They have a full menu for all day. They have a bar, food, and a stage for a band for later in the day! VERY NICE PEOPLE

To say that we fell in love with this place would be an understatement. We still can’t stop talking about amazing it was. So much to choose from but we settled on two coffees and a muffin. Large coffee sizes and such delicious muffins. We were having a moment with it, lol. Very helpful and friendly barista. Atmosphere was incredible as well. Can’t wait to come back here again when I’m the area. We would even deviate from our travel path if it meant we could stop here again.

Fun, friendly coffee house with a theme to match the dojoi next door. It has many tables and booths. They have an extensive drink menu as well as food and a pastry case. Besides the decor the most unique aspect is it has two indoor stages in the same room. They share a large free parking lot with adjacent businesses.
