Crema's Take

This beloved Austin spot balances serious espresso craft with an unpretentious, family-friendly vibe that keeps folks coming back for both the coffee and the thoughtfully made food. Their signature drinks like the Shakerato showcase real creativity alongside classic espresso work, while fresh ingredients in their sandwiches and pastries prove they care just as much about what's on the plate as what's in the cup. It's the kind of place where you can linger over a slow pour or grab something delicious to go, with genuinely affordable prices that feel refreshing in today's specialty coffee scene.

*Update: 3/5 star. They must've seen this review and promptly refunded my order. The swift response is appreciated and I will give them a second shot when in the area. Original: 1/5 star. Idk if they just ran out of everything at the end of the day but I literally got the equivalent of 2 crushed chips, a quarter of a small avocado, and 2 massive fried eggs on a bed of spinach. Expectation vs reality on this one is wildly different. Didn't see until after I'd left :(

I had the Turkey and Bacon Paninini with avocado spread. It was delicious. Though I was the one who ordered a sandwich and a berry smoothie, also delicious. The cook was anticipatory and put a sandwich in two different baskets thinking my husband was gonna’ share. That was impressive. Will definitely come back, try the waffles. It’s a small quaint place and a great stopover for waiting to go to an appointment.

Great food, good coffee, good service and on top of all the delicious food, great atmosphere and all they have, very affordable prices. And I say that because of the quality of the really fresh ingredients! The bagel was northeast quality Bagels which has been really hard to find in Texas. So happy to have found this great place!

Great quick meal! Stopped in, had the simple sandwich egg avo and queso Fresca and is was great. Solid almond milk latte Atmosphere is good for some quick work on computer and a lot of to-go orders.

The Berry Tyler Moore waffle was awesome and was just the right amount of food my wife said. I tried the Shakerato and it was good, reminded me of a brown sugar shaken espresso. Would definitely like to come back and continue trying different items. The sandwiches look really good here.
