For Keeps Coffee

For Keeps is a keeper! This cozy and comforting coffee shop is the sweetest thing. It's nestled in the Waco residential area off Bosque Rd. It offers a variety of coffee, teas and baked goods that are mildly sweet to taste and packed with a lot of flavor. I met a lovely young lady named Lexi and she was so kind to offer suggestions since this was my first time visiting. I ordered the Honduras Pacas washed coffee with notes of brown sugar, Cranberry and citrus and a Cranberry scone drizzled in a orange icing. Mmmm, so delicious. The inside is largely accommodating with plenty of seating, a small shopping wall laced with rings, necklaces and bracelets to purchase. This place is warm and welcoming and I definitely will be returning, and bring friends to share in the experience of such a lovely place.

The absolute best coffee shop in Waco. 1. It's aesthetically the best 2. Delicious house-made baked goods and food (get the Helberg Kolache!!) 3. Awesome matcha 4. Really-really good coffee (the new roaster is putting out insane quality)! 5. Has a lot of very comfortable seating 6. The wifi is very fast 7. They have really nice baristas :)

Long Review: From a product standpoint - Their consistency and value for excellence is what keeps me coming back to For Keeps. As someone who has frequented this shop for a few years now, I know that I can count on really good coffee and fresh baked goods made in-house. If you’re getting traditional coffees like cortado/macchiato/cappuccino/americano, then you’re in the right place because they make them correctly. The lattes are fun too because they seasonally come out with new flavor offerings! Matcha latte is on point here too. The pastries are really well done, made fresh from scratch. Highlights for me being the cinnamon bun and the breakfast sammy. And just like the lattes - the baked goods seasonally change! There is a ton of seating for both individuals and groups of about 4-5 people. When the weather is right the garage doors open and also the patio seating is really nice and relaxing. The overall space is bright and open. Dog friendly. Couldn’t ask for more from a coffee shop! For Keeps is one of those coffee shops where you feel good being in there and like you could hang out there all day or just swing by to pick up a coffee on your way to work! Love this place

Food and drinks are pretty decent. The place is dirty. My latte should have had stevia, but they entered something else in the order. The cashier appears very low-energy. When I asked for a receipt, she said only via text or email. I chose email, but she sent it by text instead. The dishwasher is broken, so there are no plates, and all orders are packaged to go. They don’t even have forks. It's my first visit. It's not a great impression.

Such a charming coffee spot in Waco! They have a great selection of coffee and pastries, with options to please everyone — including sugar-free and gluten-free treats. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The staff was friendly and the coffee was perfectly brewed. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!
