Bread Alone - Rhinebeck
45 E Market St, Hudson, NY
Crema's Take
“The real draw here is the bread—they take their baking seriously, and a warm loaf fresh from the oven justifies the drive to Rhinebeck alone. The coffee is genuinely good (a creamy latte with maple syrup is worth ordering), the pastries are reliably excellent, and the staff actually cares, making it an ideal pit stop if you're traveling through the Hudson Valley or craving a proper cozy café experience. Fair warning: the kitchen's food offerings beyond baked goods are inconsistent, so go for coffee, pastries, and bread, not lunch.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, quick-grab spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly.

Good coffee, fresh pastries, and friendly stuff, but the food is really lacking.. coming from someone who ate there many times (mostly because there are no other options in the area) their sandwiches are so unbelievably BORING! Like dry chicken salad and a piece of letters.…
Great place to have a quick brunch and good coffee as well. Wide variety of bread items. Well maintained though very busy on a Sunday. Got the oatmilk latte with maple syrup which was good. I was surprised by the ricotta toast (added an egg)! Must try. Would come again!!
Friendly faces, delicious food and top notch coffee. What more could you want? I really enjoyed this little jaunt off of the highway to grab a cup of coffee and breakfast. I almost didn’t stop because my GPS gave me only 3 stare reviews, but thankfully Google reviews were more…
The latte is so good and creamy. I added just a tiny bit of simple syrup and it’s perfect. There was a line but it went so fast. One loaf of fresh bread is around $7, totally worth it for good quality bread! We got a side of bread and dipped it in olive oil for a savory treat…
