Crema's Take

Bennu feels like Austin's answer to a properly curated third place, where baristas like Sebastian genuinely care about your experience whether you're grabbing a quick espresso or settling in for a full workday. The thoughtfully lit space—complete with outlets everywhere and reliable wifi—welcomes both laptop warriors and lingerers equally, while their espresso program and unexpected refreshers like peach ginger iced tea show they're thinking beyond the basics. It's the rare coffee shop that nails the cozy-but-lively vibe where you actually want to spend hours, not just minutes.

I work remote so I'm always looking for coffee shops with outlets, WiFi, food options, and parking. Went here for the first time the other day based on Pip's recommendations. Loved it! Outlets everywhere, not too noisy so easy to have a conversation. They even have a printer! P.S. You get a custom WiFi code with purchase that lasts an hour or two (can't remember exact time). Also, the pastries are from Quacks. 😋

It was pretty dark in there (I did go there at sunrise) but there was lamps at almost every table. I normally prefer hot coffees but since I was conflicted on my choices I asked the barista to choose for me and she said to try the iced Bennu and I'm glad I did it was sweet and a cool pairing with my sandwich. The place where I sat the chairs were a little low compared to the table so I felt a little silly.

The peach ginger iced tea is so refreshing! They’re also super fast and have plenty of seating and places to plug in your device and work or study. Very cozy atmosphere. My only issue was they don’t have very many gluten free foods. They did have gluten free stroop waffles that were very good though. They also have public printing available! I didn’t try it, but super cool concept to remember!
