Crema's Take

Kovu's Coffee feels like the kind of place where baristas actually remember your order because they genuinely care about getting it right—reviewers rave about the attentive, knowledgeable staff who take their time crafting drinks like their standout honey lavender and perfectly-pulled espressos. The space itself is a draw, offering cozy nooks perfect for serious study sessions or lingering conversations, and the pastries (especially those cinnamon rolls) are worth the visit alone. There's a real warmth here that goes beyond good coffee—it's the kind of neighborhood spot where regulars become friends and first-time visitors immediately plan their return.

Great coffee, great prices, friendly service. The atmosphere is cozy with plenty of space to study or relax. And you have to try the cinnamon roll. It might be the best I’ve ever eaten.

Coffee Shop No. 494 Kovu’s Coffee Boone, NC April 9, 2025 The two best words to describe Kovu’s Coffee is cozy and fun. The hubby and I felt like the old folks in the shop. It was full of young people working on their computers and reading books. You have all sorts of seating options to choose from and the shop encourages different hobbies. There’s a record room, a stage for performances, a round table to play board games and a pretty decent selection of books in the shelves. The best part is you can bring your dog to experience the coffee shop with you. Now for the important…the barista made a delicious cortado! Enjoying life one cortado at a time!
