Unfortunately, today is the last day I will purchase coffee here. I've come here pretty religiously since 2016. Even when I moved away, anytime I was around I would always make a point to visit. Coffee and food are top notch and some of the best, but customer service has been lackluster and infuriating to an extent. Like today for example, i don't expect a full conversation, and I don't expect to be waited on like i'm the most important person in the world. But however, a simple hello or a have a nice day is a pretty standard expectation. Or just basic human politeness. Instead, I get my coffee rudely placed on the counter, they don't even bother to say it's done or what drink ot is, dirty looks and eye rolls, and an attitude that's just essentially saying they can't wait until i'm out of there. This is about six times in the last month and a half now of rude behavior like this and I can't justify going in any longer. Again, great coffee and food, but the younger staff is so rude and is more focused on personal conversations than customer service. Coming here for a decade and just wow. Never has staff been this rude. The taller gentleman with glasses is a really nice guy, though and one of the only polite people currently working, aside from the owner. You figure, if tips are asked for every transaction that some of the staff would be a little nicer to their customers. I wish the business many more years of success, but I won't be supporting it anymore.
I own Evening Star Coffee Roasters in Avon, Ny where we have roasted and packaged coffee for over 16 years. The biggest challenge my family has when we travel is finding a decent cup of coffee at a cafe. We try to find decent coffee but nothing ever seems to hit the mark for us as we look for perfection with coffee. I have to share that we always look forward to visiting Keene, NH and look forward to Prime Roasts Lattes. The coffee and staff always hit the mark for us. It makes us feel like home is with us. In particular, the butter beer latte was incredible! The espresso is rich, smooth and stands out in the espresso drinks. Amazing job! Amazing staff! Amazing drinks! Kind and polite!
I had the special-pecan pie latte! Delicious! The smell Of coffee when you walk in!! Yum. There is not a lot of seating. However The windowseats were all ready decorated for Christmas and the vibe is very cool! Definitely recommend
Pretty good coffee and friendly service. All the options you would expect from a moderate coffee shop. They have pastries and food also. We've been in here a bunch of times when in town and have always had a pleasant experience. A handful of indoor seating if you want to enjoy your coffee inside. They also sell a bunch of merchandise and other stuff.
I love the small-town charm of this unique little coffee shop. When you open the door, you are welcomed by the sweet aromatics of freshly ground coffee grinds. The cashier Veronika can help you decide what to order if you are unsure when you get there. They pay attention to a lot of little details here & make a great cup of coffee. Plenty variety of hot and cold coffee and teas to choose from as well as fresh bakery items. You can relax in a cozy nook inside or enjoy the seating outdoors in front of shop. Each month they display artwork by local artists which are also available for purchase. This month artist Gordon Heckman works are on display. Beautiful paintings! Plenty of easy access metered parking at the curb in front of the store . Will be visiting again if I am in the area because I appreciate a good cup of coffee. ☕️ ❤️
