Duchess Coffee

Ordered the black tea w lavender and a cardamom bun, superb combination and both were excellent. This bun is for real one of the most delicious things I've eaten. I sat in the shop for a few minutes just absorbing the morning, watching flurries through the window and reading the book titles - they've created a great atmosphere + delicious treats. Then I took my treats back to the Latchis Hotel to enjoy. Duchess was a highlight of my couple days in Brattleboro.

Lovely bookstore with unique coffee and chai options. Would definitely come back! The chai rose adaptogen latte was amazing!

A great little coffee shop! Staff was incredibly friendly and the drinks were great too! The hot chocolate was AMAZING and the latte was great as well! Loved the book selection too!

This place was amazing! A small local cafe with so much charm! It is also a great place to find a cool book if you are into the odd and crazy! The service was amazing! She was so personable and knowledgeable about their products and came ready with recommendations for what we are normally use to, to what they could provide! The coffees were perfect! I’ll be back whenever I’m back in that area!

This coffee shop checks all the boxes!! If you are looking for a cozy well designed atmosphere, comfortable places to sit, and friendly people this is your spot! The coffee, I got an oat milk latte, was fantastic. So highly recommend. There is a small pastery selection ad well. Also, books! One of my favorite things is a coffee shop bookstore combo. Clearly the people here care about coffee and a place for people to come to and relax. Highly recommend!! Also, just note that the road is one way. So if you miss the shop you will have to go around. The signage says its a bookstore first. At least that is what caught my eye.
