It’s easy to say that this place is the best coffee shop in Oakland. They take a really good care of the craft. The beans they offer are really nice and well sourced. And the variety of single origin coffees they offer in the store is amazing.

I tried their iced mazapán latte it was just okay. I think this might be better hot if you wanna give it a try. But I would recommend you try something else if you’re looking for something iced! Their tamal de pollo is good it’s not spicy doesn’t have a “usual” taste but it’s rich with flavor idk— it’s super tasty!!!! I appreciated this new experience. Overall I really love this place it so peaceful clean and good vibes. I’m excited to try the rest of the menu!!!!!!!!

Absolutely love the atmosphere of this cafe! Decent indoor seating + ample outdoor seating, if the weather is nice. Lots of people here doing work. Also just next door to Pacific Pipe climbing gym, which is a plus! I tried the horchata latte — wasn’t a huge fan, but it wasn’t bad. A bit more watery than I would have liked. Service is great! Workers are all very friendly and helpful.

This is one of West Oakland’s favorites, and to be fair, is quite hidden from the naked eye — unless you decide to explore the area in more detail. This coffee shop is honestly unique in its own way — the Western kick of coffee meets the Mexican style of pan, tamales, and more. Upon going there many times, i find that they have a wide variety of things that none other coffee shop can do better: horchata lattes. To my surprise they’re honestly one of the best in the area. They source their coffee beans locally from Oakland and Hayward, and their syrups are made from scratch. In addition, they get their tamales from a local tamal factory in Hayward — which tastes authentic and of region. They also give really good hospitality, and the design of the coffee shop is very modern and chique. I will say the down side of this coffee shop is that they have limited seating inside, and the outside seating is usually pretty cold, so some people just take their food & drinks to go. Otherwise, I’d recommend this place forsure!

Cafe is right next to Pac Pipe. Perfect place to get that caffeine fix before climbing. Cute interior with seating inside and outside. Free parking available in front but can get busy later in the day. Staff is super friendly. Restrooms with code on the side. I had the cappuccino which was the perfect balance of milk and espresso.
