Crema's Take
“Café Fenicia is a family-run Lebanese gem where a passionate father-and-son duo craft authentic Middle Eastern food and an impressive selection of traditionally spiced teas that go far beyond what you'd expect in Miami. The warmth here is genuine—they'll hustle to get you out the door if you're pressed for time, or let you linger over matcha and creative specialty drinks in a welcoming space perfect for unhurried conversations with friends and family. This is the kind of place where you can taste the care in every plate and cup, and locals rave about it with the kind of enthusiasm that comes from discovering something truly special.”

I’m Lebanese and highly skeptical of most Lebanese restaurants in South Florida. Not to bore anyone with what I’d like to be a long review, Mohammad and his father should be commended. I’ll begin with the excellent staffing - impeccable hosting by Constanza and Taylor, skillful and experienced hookah specialist Michael in charge of high end German hookah (don’t believe me, go and see for yourself), Nathan is the passionate bar tender with sophisticated curated house made potions, and father and son owners who are committed to providing a great experience. It was! They are ALL so welcoming, the genuine kind from southern Lebanon, not your usual Miami welcoming spiel. These people mean it, they love what they do. Their prices are so reasonable for the quality and clean flavors of the Lebanese south but they do have their twist on the traditional flavors. It did not bother me although I’m A traditionalist when it comes to Lebanese spices etc. We tried the Fenicia salad, yes please! Falafel? I dare anyone tell me they had a better one in South Florida. Their kibbe Naye, well this is a tough one, I don’t even care to try it anywhere for numerous reasons. This, yes please again! They have the southern Lebanon spices. Thank you for that! House made secret potion lemonade is refined. You should ask how it’s made, you literally have to take notes! The Fenicia mixed grill (we were too excited to dig in and forgot to take photos) was a pleasant surprise. The chicken, beef and kafta skewers had such unique marination and spices like nowhere else. I will focus mainly on the kafta and the beef skewer. UNIQUE. What was in there? Yum!!! We should have listened and ordered them medium temperature for obvious reasons. Honestly we wanted to try everything but we decided to hold off and make frequent visits to try it all. And we will! But hold on, I’m leaving Michael’s hookah review to close this review with a ribbon. This young man KNOWS. So they educate you on the manner in which a hookah must be smoked by offering you a little business card with the name of the flavor you’ve selected and in the back clear instructions on how you properly experience the smoking of the hookah. What a detail guys! Finally, the darn hookah is so gorgeous. High end German hookah that exudes quality and guaranteed excellent experience. The price of the experience should be as other ridiculously priced hookahs in South Florida but no! They have it priced so reasonably that I’m running back for more before they realize they made a typo! Hahaha, seriously, what a gem. As in most of Miami, parking is an issue but locals have learned to work around this. Lucky are the neighborhood residents, this place is magnetic and a no brainer. They don’t take reservations? We also know how to work around that. Valet parking is available too. I’d like to show my gratitude to the entire team. Well done guys. We know you will be in high demand having just opened and with high energy and enthusiasm! Friendly, welcoming, clean and cozy ambiance, professional and inviting service. We will be back as often as possible!
Excellent place to enjoy authentic middle eastern quality food, this is operated by Father and Son hands on, plenty of option for Tea lovers hot and cold with originals spices, anything you order is great. They will have to expand right away as place is full, must make a reservation in advance.
Easily some of the best Middle Eastern food in all of Miami. Cafe Fenicia is a true hidden gem & deserves recognition. This family-owned spot is run by a passionate father-son duo, and you can feel it in every detail. Everything is done with care and authenticity. No alcohol here, but honestly, you won’t miss it. The tea selection is excellent, and the hookah experience more than makes up for it. Places like this are rare. Wishing them nothing but continued success.
Wonderful food and friendly staff. We let them know we had a time crunch and they went out of their way to serve us quickly. Am definitely planning on going back!
Really, but really amazing food
