Crema's Take

Tucked away in Eagle River, this cozy spot punches well above its weight with generous, thoughtfully crafted sandwiches and an exceptional dirty chai that locals rave about, all at prices that feel like a steal. The intimate, comfortable atmosphere makes it perfect for lingering over breakfast or meeting a friend, and the friendly service matches the care that clearly goes into every plate. It's the kind of place you stumble upon and immediately wonder how you ever lived without it.

We came into the wondering cafe, and were given massive portions, for an amazing price and it was so good we couldn’t wait to take another bite! Keep doing what you’re doing! ♥️🎊

Soo delicious and the best dirty chai tea I’ve had! Prices are good for a busy city! Customer service was nice. This is a really cozy cafe, it does have limited seating but the atmosphere is very comfortable and tidy. I loved my breakfast sandwich! If I come to Wasilla AK again, I definitely will come back here. Recommending to all my friends ! Tomato Basil soup was super delicious!

Found this cafe so randomly and am I glad or what!! Loved it. Their sandwiches are spot on! Well put together and tastes brilliant! Ordered the turkey Swiss cheese sandwich, pickle sandwich & Brie blueberry sandwich + 2 vanilla lattes. Everything tasted so so good. Really cute decor. Small & cozy cafe. Squeaky clean including the restroom. 10/10 hopefully I’ll be back!!

We were impressed by The Wandering Cafe! First of all, the salad was HUGE. I had the Pioneer sandwich and my wife had the Sightseer salad. We were both very full and satisfied by the end. The food was delicious and fresh tasting. They had a kid grilled cheese that came with chips and some fruit for the kiddo. It’s well decorated and has a cozy vibe. You can buy local art or goods as well. Friendly service as well. Highly recommend overall.
