As a bride looking for a gluten-free wedding cake, Sin Bakery exceeded my expectations. I wanted to be certain my husband would enjoy the cake just as much as I would — something that can be difficult with many gluten-free options — and they truly delivered. The tasting with Sin was so fun and thoughtfully done. They brought out a tray with different cake flavors, frostings, and fillings so we could mix and match and build our perfect combination. It felt creative, personalized, and really made us feel involved in the process. I’ve had my fair share of dry or dense gluten-free desserts, so I was genuinely blown away by Sin Bakery. They offered so many gluten-free options, and every single one was moist and flavorful! We also had a very specific design in mind for our small wedding cake, and the team delivered it perfectly. It looked exactly how we envisioned and tasted incredible. We’re so happy we chose Sin Bakery and would highly recommend them — especially to anyone looking for an amazing gluten-free wedding cake.
We used Sin Desserts for our wedding cake. From first inquiring with them, they got back to us in a timely manner with all the information we needed. At our tasting, they gave us a good range of options to choose from for the cake, frosting and any other fillings. One of their employees also sat with us to discuss the design we had envisioned with our cake when it came to the size, icing/frosting look, and other toppers and florals that we planned to have on the cake. They took detailed notes and gave us a sketch of what we described to them to ensure it matched up with our expectations. Once we made our selection and got towards our wedding day, they coordinated when to deliver the cake to our venue. On the day itself, they delivered the cake without any issues and put the cake toppers and decorative pieces we provided on it without any issues. With the florals, the cake looked absolutely beautiful and tasted even better! We enjoyed plenty of the leftovers after our big day and look forward to the complimentary 1 year anniversary cake that they will provide us! We were so grateful to Sin Desserts for providing a great cake and service to us. We’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a baking vendor for a wedding or any other event as they make great quality baked goods at reasonable prices.
After years of hanging out in sin for coffees and desserts, when we got engaged we were super excited to go back for our wedding cake and desserts. Initially we did a tasting in store. Jen helped us talk through ideas and what we were looking for and sketched a cake in front of us as we talked. Communication after that was super easy in terms of quantities, deposits and other logistics. They were able to accommodate food restrictions like celiac and vegan diets. Most importantly, everything tasted AMAZING! We ended up with a two tier wedding cake: one layer was chocolate bourbon with coffee milk ganache and the other champagne with raspberry filling. Sin delivered the cake to our venue and applied greenery and florals on site. We also got several mini desserts that our friends and family still rave about: fruit and coffee milk tarts, brownies, mini cupcakes, mini cheesecakes, and our longtime sin favorite…raspberry bars. (Sin’s raspberry bars got my now husband through studying for his architecture licensure exams and me my master’s thesis…so they hold a special place for us). All and all we cannot recommend Sin enough for everything from weddings to little treats on the weekends!!
Stopped here late on a Saturday afternoon and there was still a very good selection of desserts. I got the blueberry lemon bomb, blackberry and champagne gluten free cupcakes. The blueberry bomb was incredible and worth the high price of $10. I was less impressed with the blackberry cupcake as it was a little dry and the frosting not very sweet. The champagne cupcake was a pleasant surprise as some of the GF stuff I’ve got in the past (other bakeries) just weren’t good. This cupcake was super moist and flavorful. Will definitely be returning here for more delectable goodies!
The treats are not cheap. $10 each for the passionfruit mango eclair and the raspberry pistachio bomb, but OH MY WORD they are fantastic!!! I don’t know that I have ever tasted anything quite like the raspberry bomb. Its texture combo, flavor profile, etc is just out of this world!!!! They also have coffee, tea, and cocktails! I had a delicious peppermint tea.
