Daydreamer Coffee
2513 Seton Ave, Austin, TX
Crema's Take
“Daydreamer is a charming West Campus spot with thoughtful design and a genuinely welcoming vibe that draws students and coffee lovers alike, though the espresso execution can be inconsistent depending on who's behind the bar. The bright, inviting space works equally well for lingering over pour overs or grabbing something quick between classes, with flexible seating that opens into the surrounding building's lobby. While the barista skill level varies, the friendly atmosphere and lovely interior design keep people coming back to this neighborhood gem.”

I really wanted to like this place because everyone is so friendly and the interior is really nice. It’s just every time I’ve been here my drink has been so terrible that I couldn’t finish it and had to throw it away. This goes for coffee and matcha. I’m not sure if it’s the syrups or if everything is watered down or maybe it’s just personal preference- but definitely something is up with the quality of the drinks that dont make it worth buying one again. Really good place to study tho! I haven’t tried their pastries but they look good, and the service is always great
Not sure who said it wasn’t open to the public or why, but when I went they were. Everything about this place was thoughtful and great.
Daydreamer is hands down one of the best cafes in west campus. Not only is the atmosphere and interior design delightful, but I have also enjoyed every single drink I have ever ordered here. They also do a lot of fun specials and events/activations, which is fun when you need a break.
Bright, welcoming little coffee shop at the base of apartment and dorm buildings. The dining room opens onto the lobby of the surrounding building. They have bar and table seating. We enjoyed our coffee and our matcha. Paid street parking is available in the area.
Novice baristas, mediocre espresso drinks, and decent interior. That’s the best way to describe Daydreamer cafe. It might be a great place for students to “study” and get drinks $$$ but it’s a terrible place for coffee connoisseurs and professionals. Interior might look nice in photos, but once you experience it you will find out how cheaply the booths and chairs are made.
