Crema's Take

Nestled in Tampa, this hybrid bookstore-café-record shop creates a genuinely unique third space where you can browse vinyl and used books while sipping carefully made coffee—think tiramisu iced lattes and cold brew that keeps customers coming back. The vibe skews toward the unhurried and contemplative, perfect for settling in with a pastry and losing an afternoon to crate-digging or book-hunting, though some regulars note it's busier and less tranquil than its earlier days. It's the kind of place that rewards lingering rather than rushing, especially if you're the type who gets excited about physical media and specialty drinks.

Very cool little bookstore/cafe. It has records, books, music. All you can purchase and you can even sell your old books etc here. I will say my strawberry banana smoothie wasn't the greatest but it was decent enough to keep drinking. Other than that I would recommend this place instead of a well known bookstore. Help out a small business!!

I would have given it 5 stars easily about 5 years ago. Unfortunately, it's no longer the Mojo Books it used to be: quiet and pleasant to spend time in browsing, or having an espresso - or both. Now the book stacks seem thinner and the place is noisy, more of a student hangout than either a library or record store. Still has some great vinyl and I'd visit again but now it's an in/out place for me. Not a quiet place for reading, sipping a coffee, then buying a bunch of great old books

I recently went to this store and really enjoyed seeing all these beautiful records!! I wanted to give at least a 4.5 but not a full 5 stars. The only reason is because I wished the store was playing a wider variety of music over the speakers. I like all genres and I think it would be great if the store played all types of genres including the metal songs. It could represent the beauty and diversity of the vinyl collection. The employees I talked to were nice and I loved seeing a wide collection of books, cds and dvds! I purchased a rare copy of Bee Gees "Odessa" while there!

I cant believe it took me so long to visit mojos while i was at USF, it is such a fantastic establishment right next to school!! the coffee is literally always great, the book prices are very competitive and cheap (got a copy of my favorite book for $3 WTF), and the atmosphere inside is so cozy and relaxing. literally the perfect third space for students!

HEAVEN for folks who enjoy pyshical media. this place was SUPER cool. I got a tiramisu iced latte, it was super yummy, and the service was friendly. this is definitely a place to not go in a rush or with anyone who gets antsy when shopping cause you can definitely spend hours here combing through all the books, CDs, vinyls and DVDs. Will visit again when in the area!
