Crema's Take
“Tucked inside Pittsburgh's Novo Asian Food Hall, Teachana is a vibrant spot that seamlessly blends exceptional bubble tea with surprisingly solid ramen and creative drink combinations. Their brown sugar milk teas with boba are genuinely phenomenal, and they've mastered that sweet spot of offering both traditional favorites and signature creations at fair prices—their combo sets let you mix and match ramen with any drink for around $20. It's the kind of casual, welcoming place where you can grab a quick boba fix or linger over a full meal without the pretension, making it ideal for coffee lovers curious about exploring specialty tea drinks.”

I got the boba + ramen combo set and it was really good. The whole set was $20 and was pretty worth it because you can choose any ramen and any drink. I got the brown sugar milk tea and it was pretty good. Although it wasn't the best I've ever had, it was still pretty good. My only complaint was that the boba was a little bit too sweet for my liking. The boba came in this really cool container instead of a normal plastic one with a wrap on top. The broth of the ramen was pretty good and thick and tasty. The bamboo didn't taste good but everything else was good.
Great boba! And great coffee! I got the brown sugar iced latte with boba and my partner got the regular brown sugar milk tea with boba and they were both phenomenal. The cups were such great quality!!!
We decided to try their beef Ramen. It wasn't bad but it didn't have a whole lot of flavor. I added some of the spicy chili oil and some soy and it was a little bit better but I don't think the patrons of food need to be adding things to their food to make it taste better. It's okay if you want to make it spicier things like that but when it lacks flavor there's nothing you can do. We also had the shrimp tempura and all it was is a batter dip not a true tempura
Inside the Novo Asian Food Hall (think food court) this restaurant offers bubble tea and other drinks as well as some food selections. I ordered the shrimp(4) tempura for $8 and wish it would have come with a few vegetables. I would have ordered them separately but, for $8 more, I’d rather not. It’s a little pricey at this stand. Their taro milk tea with boba was really good.
Teachana in the Novo Asian Food Hall has the best ramen in Pittsburgh in my opinion. The broth was rich, the chashu pork was charred and flavorful, and the seasoned egg made the dish. We ordered the ramen combo which came with a big bowl of ramen and a milk tea for $20, not a bad deal.
