Crema's Take
“MochaBlend Cafe in Troy has earned a devoted following for their seriously impressive espresso work, with regulars raving about it being the best shot in town—their new affogato is a summer standout worth seeking out. The kitchen clearly puts care into their light food offerings, with reviewers genuinely excited about sandwiches and baked goods, though portion-to-price ratio seems to be a sticking point for some. That said, there are consistent reports of temperature control issues with their milk drinks, so if you're ordering a latte here, don't hesitate to speak up about how you like it served.”

Unfortunately, the latte was overheated to the point that it burned my mouth pretty badly, which really took away from the experience. On top of that, the latte had a burnt taste — the beans seem over-roasted, making the flavor harsh and unpleasant. The cookies were just okay — not terrible, but nothing special. Overall, I was disappointed and expected better attention to quality, roasting, and drink temperature.
I really did not enjoy this place at all. The coffee tasted awful, and the lady filled the cup to the very top with scalding hot coffee. I almost had to pour out half of it just so it could cool down without burning me, and then when I added half-and-half, it curdled — which was disgusting. I hoped the panini would be better, but it was even worse. It took 15–20 minutes because they only have one press, and when it finally came out, it was so hard it felt like biting into a brick. I genuinely worried I might chip a tooth. It also had zero flavor — not even salt. Definitely not worth $13. For the price they’re charging, they seriously need to step up their quality. I paid about $20 for two items and both were terrible. Very disappointing experience. I won’t be returning.
this coffee shop has the best espresso in town. newest item : Affogato, a great summer treat, get in and try one! the food is fabulous, each item made with love and you can taste it!
Found this place the other day dropping off my laundry next door. Got a water and a everything bagel egg sandwich. It must have been a while since I've had one, but this sandwich was amazing. Quality food, and atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.
Truly their prices are ridiculous for the type of food they serve. I spent $3 on a bagel and look at the cream cheese. I mean come on. I have said “go heavy on the cream cheese” and they charge extra for that and still don’t give enough. It is so dry. Picture for reference.
