Java Java Café

Java Java Café is a great spot in Freshfields Village for fresh food and excellent coffee. The ingredients always taste fresh, and the customer service is outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and attentive every time. I highly recommend The Club for lunch; it’s filling and packed with great flavor. Be sure to ask about their seasonal specials, as they often have fun, limited-time options worth trying. A must-visit for breakfast or lunch!

The whole experience was blissful. Chandler made me the best caramel cortado I’ve ever had. The staff is all so friendly with a peaceful environment. The customer service is incredible and Chandler stands on business with that espresso maker.

My daughter and I came in for a special "girls only" date. I found the staff smiling and friendly! Not necessarily overly outgoing, but both members of the staff today were what you'd expect from a local, friendly coffee shop and we were happy! They acknowledged my almost 6yo daughter and spoke to her about her order and I heard them speaking to other regulars. The only reason for the lack of 5 stars was because I didn't live my spiced brown sugar latte. I was expecting it to be a little stronger with the flavor. I will say that I took the lid off and was surprised to see some latte art which definitely blew my daughter's mind! She had the white chocolate peppermint as a streamer and again, we would've preferred a little more flavor. Next time I know to order extra flavor. No biggie! We shared a lox bagel and it was stacked with a good amount of smoked salmon and chive cream cheese. I would've preferred cream cheese on both sides of the bagel or maybe pickled red onions, but I do feel like the price was fair, it just could've used a little more flair. We got a cinnamon roll, warmed up, and it SO GOOD!!! The cream cheese icing was definitely what leveled this treat up! And we got a blueberry "pop tart" to go. It was also yummy! The eating area has plenty of windows but only a handful of tables. It wasn't too busy though, so we had no issues getting a table. My daughter loved the little Christmas decor touches. Takeaway: we will definitely be back! ♥️

Love this quaint place nestled in Freshfields. I HIGHLY recommend an oat milk latte with brown sugar cold foam and the Nutella croissant! The folks behind the counter always make me laugh and start my day off to a great start!! Shout out Kelani!

Second time I've been here, first time was SO disappointing, thought I'd give it another chance. Sadly it was as bad as the first time. The service was so unfriendly and the coffee is poorly made and lukewarm. My kids wanted the food (muffins and croissants) and it honestly was disgusting, stale and flavourless. I took it back, expressed our disappointment and asked for my money back. I was met with zero customer care and attitude. It's so frustrating because these simple things should just be fundamental of a coffee shop. Safe to say we will NOT be coming back!
