We had the valentines special drink which is the cookie butter mocha. I’ve been here twice and it’s way too slow for how actually delicious and incredible the place is. Y’all need to visit!!
Stopped in with a friend after wanting to visit for quite a while, and I’m glad I did! I ordered a buckeye latte with oat milk, and the classic Gata Magica sandwich on an everything bagel. The latte was sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. The peanut butter flavor really came out, which I’ve not experienced with other peanut butter lattes from other shops! Perfectly balanced with the chocolate. I love that they offer iced drinks in a 12oz, I don’t see that often! The sandwich was amazing too! Perfectly crispy bagel and the “toppings” of the sandwich were portioned so well, very balanced. I also love that they serve the sandwiches on plates that match the color scheme of the shop. My friend got a French toast matcha which was amazing!! It really tasted like French toast, but was not overwhelmingly sweet. My only gripe is that they don’t accept cash. It was no problem for me personally, but being across from a college campus, I can see how that would be an issue for some. Overall, I will be back, that French toast matcha is calling my name!
The french toast matcha was the best matcha I’ve had. I also love the branding, the ethical practices of the company, and the vibes of the space. The lounge area isn’t too big but I love how they have games. Their oven wasn’t working when I went so I couldn’t try the food.
Went here thinking it was a board game cafe. Unfortunately it is not. Very small number of beat up games and couches and low tables for play. Rating is based on the advertisement as a place for board games. Looked like an ok coffee shop in college area that is probably fine if you are walking by, but I wouldn’t make a special trip. My apologies for thinking this was board game focused. I have updated my review to reflect that.
This lovely Cafe near Union was lovely. The vibe was magically laid-back, but the seats and lounge were limited. Many students were studying and hanging out here. WiFi was fast. There were some board games in the lounge. Breakfast and pastries were available. Latte was $2 on Monday. I ordered the Nox latte and egg tart. The egg tart was cold and tasted great. But I may like the hot one. It could taste better after heating. The latte was decent. Definitely a great cafe near campus.
