Horrible experience. A friend and I each ordered a drink and not only did we not get our drinks, we had it poured out into the trash. Then my friend tried the other machine and ordered an iced onyx delight, instead it just gave him a shot of espresso. Horrible machine and horrible service.

FAILS EVERY TIME. This has failed me several times in the last few months, shame on me for hoping it would work this time. That’s my drink in the window, screens are not working today which resulted in failed automation. Onyx will refund your money but it is not worth the hassle and only leaves you frustrated.

Big fans of Onyx coffee. Tried the Hot Chocolate for an evening warm up. The concept of Bionics is cool, but the Hot Chocolate was very underwhelming. Minimal chocolate flavor and no added sugar at all. Basically was steamed milk, water, and a tiny splash of chocolate powder, as you can see by the pale color of the drink once you got past the milk foam.

The machine started to make an iced mocha, then threw the cup and the ice out because it didn’t put enough ice in. Then it proceeded to make another, filling the entire cup with ice and then making the most bland iced mocha I’ve ever had. We also tried the vanilla latte. Same blah taste. Just go to Einstein, right behind you. See pic for how much ice and milk goes in before the “espresso.”

This robotic coffee machine Bionics by Onyx has an overall process of making coffee from beans to latte - it was smooth and efficient. However the final result of my experience here was disappointing due to poor service. I ordered a drink, the machine made whole drink but that never came out at serving window and the window was shut and locked with no one around to assist. It was frustrating not being able to find anyone at the desk to address the issue. And no coffee after paying for. While the concept and setup are great, the lack of follow-through and customer support left a lot to be desired. Hopefully, they can improve their service in the future. 2 stars for the potential and overall idea.
