Deville Coffee House & Crêperie
2045 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA
Crema's Take
“Tucked into Magazine Street, this charming seven-table café marries New Orleans' vintage soul with authentic French technique, where owner-chef Jim crafts exceptional crêpes (the Banana Nutella is a steal) alongside carefully prepared specialty coffees in an intimate, eclectic setting. The slow-paced atmosphere and personal touch—Jim often works solo to keep things running—make it feel less like a transaction and more like being welcomed into a Parisian neighborhood spot, perfect for lingering over breakfast or meeting a friend over excellent pastries and orange juice.”

We were visiting new orleans. DeVille coffee house is a great spot . Our girls loved the crepes. Love the vintage feel.
Absolutely fabulous crepes! We had the Frenchie, Scarface (both savory) & Lucy for dessert. All of them were delicious and perfect portion sizes. Jim the owner & chef is very personable. We loved hearing the story about how finding his grandmother's recipes inspired the creperie. Ambiance is very nice as well. My friend described it as New Orleans funky.
Loved the crepes, orange juice. Being a fan of Banana Nutella crepes, I was amazed to see how amazing they were at low prices. The owner was amiable and the entire place has a wonderful charm. I would love to sit there for hours and soak it all in
Fantastic spot for breakfast/brunch on magazine street. We were the only ones in there when we arrived at around 10 am on a Saturday morning. The owner is the only one in there doing everything very impressive service. Both my wife and I loved our crepes and she loved her coffee. I just had water. She got more of an Italian one I can’t remember the name and I had a breakfast one with ham, cheese, veggies. Also, can’t remember the name. We will definitely be back next time we’re in New Orleans. Place should be packed every day. A couple more tables came in as we were finishing up. But this place is too good to not be full.
Great crepes and coffees! The small 7 table interior is New Orleans eclectic. The owner was on his own on a busy Sunday but did a great job keeping up with the orders. I had a fantastic Florentine crepe and my husband had a farmhouse crepe. Both were outstanding! Definitely worth a visit!
