Crema's Take
“Park Island Brew is a vibrant New Orleans brunch destination where stellar coffee meets creative morning fare in a distinctly pink, music-filled space that feels like a warm hug. Their signature creations like the swamped NOLA Bowl and 4-Way Latte showcase genuine culinary care from the kitchen, while the genuinely kind staff and reasonable prices make it the kind of place regulars keep returning to daily.”

Where do I even start?? This is the best brunch and coffee you’ll get in New Orleans! The ambiance of the place is so warm, welcoming and pinkkkk! The music is always banging and the staff is so nice! Every time I go in there there’s always some new decor or a new featured drink or menu item and I love it! Today I was the only one in there and I got the swamped Nola bowl and grits and I feel like I waited about 10-15 minutes for everything. In busier days it is a longer wait but that’s because the food is always made FRESH and you can taste the freshness too. The shrimp taste like they went and caught it as soon as I ordered it! Ever since the new owners took over you can really see the personality of this coffee shop and I love it! 100/10 recommend!
The 4-Way Latte and the NOLA Bowl are chef’s kiss! It literally gives you everything you need. I usually go for the cheese grits and bacon, but they have plenty of other protein options, too. The shop captures that classic corner-store vibe but pairs it with a high-end Starbucks experience thanks to the professional barista options. I love coming here and spending my hard-earned money because they treat me—and all their regulars—so well. It’s a beautiful space to get work done with a strong internet signal. The decor is gorgeous (lots of pink!), but the owners also do a great job decorating for the seasons and holidays. The baristas even remember regular orders and often recommend new things to try because they know my taste buds so well. The food is A-1! Straight to the point. Whether I’m there to grind through work or whip out a board game to play with the family, I always enjoy my time here.
We visited Park Island Brew today in New Orleans, and everything was a perfect 10 out of 10 the location, the food, the environment, all of it. We truly have no complaints. Our server, Brittany, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the menu. She gave great recommendations and made the entire experience even better with her friendly and attentive service. Chef Four (F-O-U-R) is amazing on the grill. Every dish he prepared was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. He was also very friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. 10 out of 10 for Chef Four! I ordered the NOLA Bowl with added shrimp and crawfish cream sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended together beautifully. Every bite was seasoned just right absolutely a 10 out of 10. My wife had the catfish and grits and I’ll say this, it’s the first real catfish that impressed her. The fish was fried hard just the way you like it crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The grits were smooth and creamy with no lumps at all nothing getting stuck in your teeth. Just perfectly done. We also ordered cookies and a Danish, and they were just as impressive fresh, flavorful, and a perfect sweet finish to the meal. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Park Island Brew. 10 out of 10 across the board!
The coffee here is top-notch, and so is the food. The swamped NOLA bowl was the best breakfast I had in the Big Easy. Staff is very friendly. Prices are reasonable. I believe I would stop in daily if I lived close by. If you get a chance to go here, take it. You will not be disappointed!
10/10! Highly recommended. Paige and Kala are super sweet and the coffee was AMAZING! Chef Ford aka “ TOP CHEF” knows what he’s doing in the kitchen. Get the Nola Bowl and ask to swamp it. You will not be disappointed!!!
