Hard to find parking, no directions on what to do and no one greets you. Grab your tray and tongs and grab what you want, bring the tongs with you. Your better off ordering in line as the ordering machine don’t let you add your pastries. Not very welcoming and no one speaks or ask if you need help. When I went on a Friday afternoon there were plenty of the 3d fruits. I tried the lemon which is tart. The apple isn’t the best however the mango is my favorite. Not overpowering on the sweet side and the curry chicken donut buns are one of my favorite pastries. Also any bun and the cream fill bread as well as the strawberry one are delicious. Their twisted donut is hard. I would come back for only those since the buns are super soft.

I loved it here except for when I placed my actual order (in store). I ordered two pastry’s (and some other things) and they told me later on while I was waiting, that they didn’t have them in stock anymore. When I asked the lady about getting a refund for those two specific items, she said she would either give me completely different pastry’s (the heart and the apple) or I could get a PARTIAL refund as they didn’t have what I ordered exactly even though I paid them right in store and it said “in stock” on the menu (which it didn’t say for all items). The food was pretty good and looked very nicely prepared. The staff also takes a decent amount of attention to detail. I did enjoy the experience (I had a mini birthday dinner) although it was a little bit disappointing and quite pricey. The atmosphere is very basic (sort of like the typical froyo place) if you’re planning to get food or drinks here, I would recommend calling them or asking in advanced about what they have in stock as well as being prepared to spend a little bit of extra money. (Also, If they are missing an item you want, be prepared to make a decision on getting something else, or half of a refund.)

Truly enjoyed my first visit here. Pastries and treats all looked lovely and yummy. Place was very clean and felt welcoming. Menu was easy to read and staff were knowledgeable and patient with explaining how things worked.

I went here about a month ago and I plan on coming again very soon, I really love how clean this place and the staff was friendly. I love the bakery items! My son is on the spectrum and a picky eater but he really loves that hot dog croissant! Looking forward to coming back.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. It’s beautiful, the atmosphere and aesthetic is lovely. The manager Rainy is a delight and they were so accommodating for my book signing of Trapped in the Past for a collaborative community event. Everyone raved about how much they loved the food and drinks. They have so many options I can’t pick a favorite but I loved the cheesecake, a mouse. The tea was outstanding. I truly recommend and I think I’ve found my favorite tea shop in RVA. Check them out if you’re in the willow lawn area and even if you’re not, they’re worth the drive.
