Crema's Take

Rostov's is a welcoming Richmond institution where coffee lovers can explore a thoughtfully curated selection of single-origin beans, ground fresh to your preference, while soaking in the genuinely hospitable atmosphere that regulars keep coming back for. The knowledgeable staff—including an owner who clearly relishes sharing coffee expertise and local recommendations—strike that rare balance of being both unpretentious and genuinely passionate, making it equally suited for a solo pour-over ritual or lingering conversations over espresso and pastries.

Since the new ownership, I am not impressed. The website has been down for nearly a week, and you're not able to place orders. Calling is an option for placing an order, but we order different flavours monthly, sometimes twice monthly. I hope they can find a way to resolve what seems to be a simple issue with the website.

Rostov's is a great stop for coffee and tea drinkers. They have a very good selection of coffees from around the world and can grind them on the spot to your liking. I stopped by to get a gift last minute and they had two different blends of the Guatemalan coffee I was looking for. I will be making a return trip!

On line experience every bit as positive as in-store experience. Always enjoyed the vibe and the offerings at Rostov's on our trips to Richmond. I just returned from a 2 week trip to Asia and Rostov's Richmond's Blend rivals any tea I experienced there. Just placed my first online order, needed to MAKE some changes ,the folks at the store were incredibly helpful and flexible. Great products and great people

Great collection of coffee and related artifacts. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. I ordered dark roasted drip coffee. It was good though not as strong as I expected. Good price too.

Super cute personable place. The owner I believe welcomed us and did a lot of explanations of coffee and suggested local places to visit since we were from out of town. They have a wide range of coffee beans and tea leaves. He explained the history of the place and asked questions of what our personal preferences were and provided suggestions of what we might like to try. We happily walked out of the place with some new coffee and tea to try. They also have a huge range of cups to purchase as well.
