Crema's Take

Raha Coffee House brings Turkish coffee culture to Buffalo with warm, attentive service and a thoughtfully curated menu that goes beyond typical café fare—their signature Jubani, spiced with cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon, pairs beautifully with their coveted fruit pastries (Tuesday and Monday availability is worth planning around). Whether you're settling in for serious remote work, catching up with friends, or exploring traditional drinks and matcha tea, the spacious, music-filled atmosphere at either their Grant/Amherst or University Plaza locations feels both welcoming and unhurried.

A fun place to enjoy some tea, coffee. and Turkish desserts. We've frequented the Grant/Amherst location often and were excited to see the opening of the University plaza location. Background music was also very relaxing, adding to the welcoming environment.

I got the Jubani and my partner got a regular coffee. Both were perfection. The Jubani was a little spicy with cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon (but not too intense). Service was warm and attentive. The macaroon was delightful, and I’m not a big sweets person. The space is quite cozy, with elements of Yemeni history sprinkled throughout. Great place to sit, sip, and watch the Buffalo snow fall outside while supporting a local business. Will absolutely be back!

I went here specifically for the fruit pastries which I saw advertised online. Unfortunately they told us in store that they only have them Monday and Tuesdays. We drove a while to try them and were disappointed we couldn’t but we did try the baked good that were in store and they was decent. We got the pistachio milk cake and the red velvet cake with a small coffee. The coffee was excellent followed by the milk cake. The red velvet did not have much flavor but was ok. The place is right around the corner from the UB campus so it makes sense that it was filled with young college kids. However if that’s not your scene it may not be somewhere you want to sit to eat. I definitely wouldn’t go to work there like a Starbucks. Seems more like a local hangout spot.

Beautiful coffee house with great coffee and desserts! Very courteous and expeditious service even when it’s very busy. Great place to come meetup with friends and catch up or get some remote work done in a nice atmosphere. Love the pistachio latte! It’s delicious! Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re a coffee lover!

We lucked out, they only have these fruit shaped desserts on Tuesday and thats the day wr decided to try the bakery. We tried the peach, which was filled with cream and fresh peach chunks and the pistachio, how great these were. We also had the expresso and a pistachio latte, great flavor and presentation. The Sabaya was delicious, perfect amount of honey. The atmosphere and staff will make this one of our go to places when in the area. Highly recommend!
