Hatch | beaker + burr is easily our favorite coffee shop in Spokane. Located in Saranac Commons, the vibe is simply awesome, and the no other coffee in town compares to the quality here. For their regular menu, the cortado is a standout and makes my soul happy. When their seasonal menus are on rotation, the coconut cold foam (summer) and winter spice latte (winter) are our favorites. Owner Alex did an awesome job transforming the former Caffé Affogato (also brilliant in its own way) into Hatch. All of the baristas are fabulous, kind humans. D is usually there when we order and always hooks us up with the most expertly crafted coffees. No matter who is working, though, you're in great hands. We also love that they source pastries from The Grain Shed, another local favorite, in case we're craving a treat. Hatch is community-centered, welcoming, and delicious!

My husband and I are both rather picky when it comes to our coffee and after lots of trial and error trying different specialty cafes in Spokane over the years we can confidently say this is the best coffee in Spokane. Their espresso is beautifully dialed in and their drip flavor profiles are incredible. Prices are super reasonable including their whole bean. Service is always very friendly and never makes you feel rushed. Been here several times and have yet to be disappointed, would 100% recommend!

My Latte was very good. I loved the old building and atmosphere of the place. Price was in line with other coffee shops. If the barista wouldn’t have been curt with me I would have given it five stars.

Very cool little spot downtown Spokane. I had an unsweetened matcha and it was delicious. The interior of the space is welcoming and cozy, with lots of lovely house plants. We walked over from our downtown hotel and it was a great slow start to the day.
