Crema's Take
“Nestled in Little Five Points, this eclectic spot pairs stellar espresso drinks with a genuinely funky atmosphere—think softly playing metal, local art on the walls, and a refreshingly unpretentious vibe that won't break the bank. The baristas move at their own rhythm, but they're genuinely warm and knowledgeable, crafting strong, flavorful coffees and creative drinks that draw locals and visitors alike into lingering conversations. If you're seeking that rare coffee shop where the experience feels as carefully curated as the espresso itself, this is worth the trip.”

been thinking about making a trip here for the past month as this place has sentimental value to me (or used to i guess). drove over an hour and was disappointed by the extremely rude service. the short haired chick working has some weird chip on the shoulder. then i overhear the manager (or owner) and the short haired girl giggling about how they want to close an hour early just because..? and then they tell me and all the other paying customers to leave. overheard a conversation from other patrons how Java Lords deserves to go out of business and I am inclined to agree. As much as I have wanted to support this place everything about my experience here was so off putting. not to mention the the bathroom was like a gas station bathroom just utterly disgusting. no wonder this place is dead.
I love places with great customer service! The energy here is so light despite the grunge— don’t let the decor deter you— little five points has a gem in this place! I got a caramel cappuccino & it tasted PERFECT! Enjoyed the banter with the barista & will def come back 🥰
🎸Softly playing metal music, funky local art, beer, wine, cocktails, large selection of tea, and STELLAR coffee at an affordable price ($3.5+). Great service—slow but with a story and a smile. Couches, low top seats, outdoor patio, and bar top with high chairs. Right in the heart of Little Five Points.
Solid Spot in Little Five Java Lords is a great place to stop if you're in the area and need something refreshing. The drink menu is solid, the atmosphere is laid-back, and there’s always something interesting to look at — the walls are covered in event posters and local art, which gives it that unmistakable Little Five energy. Just a heads up: no tap to pay, so make sure you’ve got a physical card or cash. Cool spot to hang, especially if you’re already exploring the neighborhood.
Coffee was stronnnng in a good way! Lol...met some really cool locals who showed me around the area. They have a great selection of flavors to choose from. I think I got the hazlenut and it was solid. Not as much flavor as I would've liked but it definitely got me through the night
