Crema's Take
“Bookends Cafe trades on a bookstore-cafe hybrid vibe that works well for studying or lingering over wifi, but the 3.9 rating reflects a real consistency problem: customer service is a coin flip (some reviewers praise the peaceful atmosphere, others report staff dismissing orders or ignoring requests), and the coffee itself lands between decent and genuinely weak depending on who's making it. It's a solid spot if you just need a quiet place to work and aren't counting on either excellent drinks or reliable friendliness, but there are better bets in town if either of those matters to you.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Pastries and light food on the menu. Wifi.

See all on Google →I asked for a tea fog and instead of asking me what tea I wanted in it the guy at register just told the girl making drinks something random which was incredibly rude
Nice cozy vibes like a book store crossed with a cafe Exelent place to study and the coffee and tea is decent as well as the food it can get a little crowded but all the carpets and books do a good job dampening the sound
The two employees that we dealt with were extremely rude. We ordered a frappuccino and asked for no whip creme, they still put the whip creme on and when we proceeded to take the whip creme off they said in a rude tone, "If you wanted the whip creme off we could have taken it…
Such peaceful place to realxe in the library. The pastry and snacks are expensive, so you might want to stick with the coffee and realted drinks there. The customer service providers are trained well and are quite friendly.
Went to Bookends for the first time in a few weeks. Brought my travel mug and ordered a dark roast coffee. I was charged 1.60 for a weak bodied and flavorless coffee. I dumped it out. If you like GOOD coffee go elsewhere.
