Crema's Take
“Jupiter's Eye Book Cafe in Spokane has mastered the art of creating a genuinely cozy retreat where lingering feels like the whole point—reviewers keep mentioning how easy it is to lose track of time here, whether you're settling in with a book or catching up with friends. The combination of thoughtfully curated fantasy and sci-fi selections, reliable specialty drinks like their lattes, and genuinely warm staff makes this feel less like a transaction and more like stepping into someone's living room, complete with excellent pastries and shareables that remind visitors of better versions of places they've traveled. It's the kind of spot that earns 4.9 stars not just for good coffee, but for understanding that people crave spaces that slow them down.”

This is my new favorite book shop. The staff were wonderfully helpful, personable and friendly. The ham and cheese sandwich reminds me of the UK and is the best ham and cheese sandwich I’ve had in the States and their London Fog was the best I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely a gem and treasure for the Spokane area.
Went there today with my family and it was a very cozy place. Honestly feels like I could have taken a nap lol...anyways there's really cool books there, the food is good and the drinks ! I got the lavender london fog and it was delicious, along with the tomato and mozzarella sandwich which was literally the best thing ever. I would recommend going and I'd probably come back, but I'd bring my book next time so I can enjoy the comfy atmosphere (only cuz I really need to finish the books I bought years ago)
10/10 would recommend getting married here! Okay, but seriously. My spouse and I love this bookstore so much. Fantastic collection of books, great vibes, and wonderful staff! I love their shareables and enjoy tasting their different seasonal drinks. It was a place we already loved, so getting married here made sense :) Thanks Morgan for letting my spouse and I have our big day in your store, you made our day even more special! We will be back again soon :)
Jupiter's Eye has made an extremely positive impression on me. Upon entering I was immediately delighted by the wide selection of fantasy, sci fi and horror books available. The friendly staff, tasteful decor and overall charming vibe producing a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Both the food and coffee were exceptional as well. I recommend the turkey apple havarti sandwich in particular! Ultimately, Jupiter's Eye has become one of my very favorite spots in Spokane to sit down, read, relax, or get some work done. 5/5, highly recommended!
Such a charming little coffee shop and intimate venue. Jupiter’s Eye is the kind of place that invites you to slow down and savor the moment. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends over a great cup of coffee, surrounded by cozy, creative energy. What really sets it apart is the atmosphere—it’s not just a coffee shop, it’s a community space. They regularly host local artists, musicians, and authors who come to share their work, making every visit feel like a new experience. Whether you’re there for an open mic, a poetry reading, or just a quiet afternoon, there’s something warm and welcoming about this space. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a spot with character, good vibes, and a strong cup of Joe.
