Goldy's Corner

Crema's Take
“Goldy's Corner is a beloved Boise breakfast destination where oversized cinnamon rolls and hearty breakfast casseroles are the real stars, paired with solid coffee drinks that keep locals coming back. The cozy, family-friendly vibe works equally well for a quick grab-and-go pastry or a leisurely sit-down breakfast, though recent reviews suggest the service consistency hasn't quite kept pace with the kitchen's strengths. If you're craving generous portions of comfort food and don't mind a bit of inconsistency in the experience, their gluten-free options and Italian sodas make it worth a visit.”

I have been a longtime fan of Goldy’s Corner but over the last year and a half the quality of their service has gone down tremendously. This used to be my favorite coffee shop but now it’s a last resort. It seems like their prices have continued to go up while the quality of their products and customer service has continued to decrease. After my last disappointing experience there last night, I am officially resigning as a Goldy’s customer. Being kicked out 30 minutes before close was my last straw. I’d rather spend my money somewhere that I know actually appreciates it.
We ordered to-go: a cinnamon roll, veggie and bacon breakfast casseroles, plus an Italian soda. Drinks were great! The cinnamon roll was big and tasty—though I personally prefer more cinnamon and buttery flavor. The breakfast casseroles were dry and lacked flavor. Overall, a mixed experience.
Came specifically for breakfast. Prob more like 3.5, it was pretty good but being next to and co-owned by Goldys I expected more. The sausage burrito was pretty good and the cinnamon roll huge but also just pretty good. We may come back for mimosas but not a food destination.
I've been in three times in a row recently every single time I got my food it's been cold every time. It seems like one staff members happy to be there the rest area like inconvenience by you even being there to order in the first place. It sucks cuz I've lived in Boise for a while and this place didn't used to be like that at all. Had to eaty zucchini bread then take my burrito to go so I could heat it at home.
Cute shop, delicious food, & helpful people! I called ahead to ask if they had gluten free items. The lady listed them for me. I enjoyed a slice of gluten free banana bread and a hazelnut steamer, made with almond milk (lactose free). I also took a gluten free lemon bar home. It was delicious! What a treat. My daughter very much enjoyed some sort of fudge covered Brownie and an Italian soda. They're kitty corner from a parking garage, so we stopped in to enjoy some goodies and were still out within our free hour if parking.
