Cafe Luca Belle

For the short while I was here it was very welcoming. The inside feels very home-y, and I was able to get my work done with a delicious cinnamon muffin and hot chocolate. The place gets a little loud when it’s full but it’s not a bother. Would come back again!

I really like the coffee and food here, but the service has to improve. I stood at the counter for 9 minutes at almost 11am on a Monday morning and never got my order taken. There was only one girl working, so I understand it’s not going to be fast service, but that was ridiculous. I ended up just leaving because the girl working was so backed up making bagels that she started working on the 5th one since I had walked in and I just left. If there’s too much business for one staff member to handle, then put more staff on. This is nowhere near the first time this has happened to me there, but I try to support local small business so I kept going, but this was the last straw for me, I will not be back.

Love me a bagel from Luca Belle, specifically the spicy belle or the Dana. The coquito latte was a fan favorite. Amanda & co are friendly & always attentive. The space is perfect for a larger gathering or just to hangout on the comfy couches.

I travel for work and stop for coffee all over the State. I ordered a cappuccino here and the presentation was perfect! It was equally delicious! I chatted with the girl working there, possible the owner, for a brief moment, and she was very sociable. I wish that I lived closer, because this place is a gem! Thank you!

Kudos to Cafe Luca Bella for great service. The space is nice and spacious, and it has an inviting atmosphere. The empty cups were warm, the single serving tea kettles were cute, and the staff was supernice. I definitely recommend this new coffee shop in downtown Wallingford.
