Crema's Take

Tucked away in Providence, this North African-inspired tea house transports you somewhere far away with an intimate, relaxed atmosphere that feels equally suited for a contemplative solo session or a meaningful conversation. The tea menu goes well beyond typical offerings, featuring creative and complex brews that reviewers consistently praise as unlike anything they've tasted before, while their light food—like an unexpectedly exceptional crispy chicken salad—matches that same attention to flavor and detail. It's the kind of place where the whole experience, from the unhurried service to the thoughtfully curated ambiance, reminds you why a good cup of tea and a few hours of unrushed time matter.

This place was very cool. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our waiter was friendly. We did not get any food just tea. The tea was good and unique. I have never tasted tea like the one I got here. Definitely check out if you like chill places to get tea.

I love this place. The atmosphere is relaxing, ordering is simple and the tea service was great. This could be a great date night spot or just a place to relax sip some tea and read a book or work on your laptop. There is outdoor seating as well. I will definitely be back and highly recommend. Update: Came here again but in the evening. Still the same great food. The vibe is really chill and good place to have conversation with a friend. And smoke some hookah if you like too!

First time here, had a crispy chicken salad, it’s the best salad I’ve ever had. The complexity and layer of flavors made every single bite a surprise. The breading of the chicken was subtle and even and thin. The flavor was very special, couldn’t figure out what it was. The portion was huge but I finished it. Will come again and try other stuff.

A wonderful experience! The tea was the best I’ve ever had! The food was flavorful, sooo good! The service was warm and inviting. If you want a Moroccan experience, if you want to get out of Rhode Island and step into another continent for an hour or 2….this is the place to visit!

This is not your average sit down restaurant. You come in, grab a menu, order, then pay and await greatness. Please note that they have bigger menu than what is on Google and Yelp. I totally forgot to take a picture of the menu. All of the food is made to order so please be patient. We ordered the Mint tea lightly sweetened and the iced Hibiscus tea. Both very good. We ordered the bakoula, baked beets, Brie sandwich to start. Everything was delicious. The bakoula is like sautéed spinach and the baked beets are served with goat cheese and sliced almonds. You eat these both with Pita. The Brie sandwich was very good. It is served with mixed greens which are a bit bitter but the Brie and raspberry spread pair nicely together. We also order the tortilla de patata with is essentially a potato and egg quiche served with cherry tomatoes. It was Very good. It’s dimly lit but you can still read the menu and the Moroccan music in the background is at a respectable volume. They have a gender neutral bathroom which was nice and clean. They also have desserts and hookah.
