Pura Vida Grinds Coffee Shop

Crema's Take
“Pura Vida Grinds is a laid-back Gilbert gem that nails both craft coffee and community vibes, with creative signature drinks like the toasted marshmallow cold brew and the aptly named Lobo that keep locals and visitors alike coming back. The cozy setup—complete with games, comfy chairs, and genuinely warm staff—makes it the kind of place where you're just as likely to settle in for an afternoon as you are to grab a quick cortado, and their espresso-focused menu delivers consistently rich, flavorful shots whether you're ordering something traditional or adventurous. It's clear from every review that this is where people come not just for excellent Costa Rican coffee, but for a space that feels like home.”

I got a large toasted marshmallow cold brew and it was DELICIOUS!! We were visiting from out of town and had no idea where to get good coffee, but are so happy we found this spot. The atmosphere has such good family-friendly vibes, the workers are happy and helpful, they seem like a great community that cares for each other. Loved my experience
We got the lobo-which was fire and the mocha specialty drinks. Drinks were perfect, but the star of the show today was the rpg bagel. We inhaled it. I would give this place a 5 star if it had some music playing in the background. Although it was quite and pleasant-some background music would def take the atmosphere up a notch. Aside from that minor detail, the food, staff and over all feel of this place was best in class.
Went looking for cuban espresso, and this was closest we could find. Came here. Cozy, cool setup with games and comfy chairs. People here are so nice and sweet. Consensus: It's a damn good cup of coffee. Will be back again!
Cute little shop with great decor. I ordered a cortado and the coffee was rich and flavorful. My wife ordered a tea drink from their custom menu called the Happy Gilmore and it was pretty tasty too. Much better coffee than any of the chains in the area.
My family loves hanging out here. We play games and drink delicious Costa Rican coffee. I always get the Nitro Cold Brew with brown sugar cream. It slaps me awake and gets me ready to play a little gin. I love the music and the friendly atmosphere here. No rush to leave, the owners are super friendly and it feels so welcoming. The love is authentic and so is the coffee.
