Crema's Take

This laid-back beachside spot near Murrells Inlet nails the slow coffee experience with solid espresso drinks and a specialty cold brew program that keeps regulars coming back. The real draw is the unhurried vibe—outdoor seating perfect for people-watching and genuine downtime—though service can be inconsistent depending on who's behind the bar. If you catch them on a good day, it's exactly the kind of casual, walkable coffee destination that makes a beach vacation feel a bit more local.

What to expect

Espresso-focused, good cold brew. A slow-sit spot, outdoor seating.

We got an Americano and an oat milk latte. Both were okay. The foam was loose on the latte, not creamy, but the coffee was good. The best part was sitting out in front of the store people and car watching. There was plenty of street parking. Just one block from the beach.

Oct 2018 This is truly a gem of a place. Arrived on Saturday and came Sunday am and Monday. Monday’s they are closed but we didn’t know that. However the owner was there and was kind enough to make us two hot cups of the local favorite, Garden City Mocha. The drink can be hot,…
