Crema's Take

The baristas here nail creative flavor combinations like carrot cake iced lattes and their own house-made syrups, and they're genuinely attentive enough to remember regulars' names. It's a legitimately cozy neighborhood spot with solid pastries and well-executed specialty drinks, though their hot matcha technique needs work if that's your thing. Come for the personable service and inventive seasonal specials, especially if you want a place where the staff actually cares about getting to know you.

What to expect

Strong matcha and tea selection, with creative signature drinks, good cold brew. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast and pastries on the menu. Family friendly. Parking available.

They have a good quality matcha but they don’t know how to properly make it hot. Many times I see the same mistakes in coffee shops. Matcha is served extremely hot, which kills the food properties of tea. The stuff is nice and the place has some seat outside which is nice.

This is a really cute cozy coffee shop. The lattes are well made, they have house made syrups, the pastries are good and the coffee cake is perfect and not over sweet. The gal who gave us our drinks was nice. There is a little bit of seating indoors, but most of it is outside.…
