Crema's Take
“Coffee Lab pulls off the rare trick of being both a serious espresso operation and a genuinely welcoming hangout—their cortados and lattes are consistently excellent, and the staff actually seem happy to chat with you. The rustic-cozy atmosphere and early 2 PM closing time make it feel less like a commercial caffeine pit stop and more like a local's living room on the way to Emerald Lake, which means you need to time your visit right but it's absolutely worth planning around.”
What to expect
Espresso-focused, good cold brew. A quick-grab spot, good for meetings.

Excellent! I had an iced latte which was surprisingly good. Friendly staff. Worth a stop as your passing by RMBL pre/post hike.
Super cool coffee shop on your way to emerald lake!
Excellent atmosphere: very rustic-looking shop with excellent homey vibes inside. The staff are talkative and kind, and the establishment provides great employment opportunities to student workers in REU or education programs! The coffee is great — staff are very willing to make…
Charming little coffee spot in secluded, beautiful Gothic, Colorado (with wifi, even!).
