Caffe Vita at KEXP
472 1st Ave N, Seattle, WA
Crema's Take
“Tucked inside the legendary KEXP radio station, this Caffe Vita outpost serves seriously excellent espresso and creative cold brews (including nitro) in a sprawling, naturally lit space that buzzes with creative energy. You're not just getting a great pour-over or specialty drink here—you're sitting among music industry folks, radio studios, and Sub Pop merchandise, creating an atmosphere that feels like the heart of Seattle's indie music scene. It's the kind of place where your coffee tastes even better because you're sipping it in a space that actually matters to the community.”

Super cool café with absolutely amazing coffee. The fact it's a radio station makes it even more cooler place to go to.
solid coffee shop. huge space with plenty of seating. love the kinda grungy vibe that also has a ton of lighting. worth the visit!
We were in the area and looking for a spot that served cold brew. We happened to find Vita, and they had nitro cold brew! That and seeing the images of the place, going there became a given! We went inside and thought it was such a cool space with a unique concept! There were interesting seating situations, good variety for caffeinated drinks, outlets at the high top tables, and the radio station that was being filmed adjacent to vita playing on speaker! You could see a lot of people working from the spot or hanging out and catching up. The speakers with the radio station did make it difficult to concentrate and take meetings, but it’s also part of the charm of the place. Definitely worth checking out! The service is great, too!
Hidden coffee shop gem in my teenage music lover's dream! SubPop Music merch stand, Staff Meeting room and the KEXP sound room all surrounding the coffe counter. Delicious coffee, juices. Their vegan breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito were exceptional. Was too full to try their vegan baked goods today, but hopefully soon. If you find yourself close, go! You will not be disappointed.
Having a coffee at a radio station is such a rad experience! 🤘📻☕️ The coffee is very good and so are the breakfast burritos. There is a vegan burrito as well! My husband got black coffee and I got a vanilla latte with oat milk. Staff is friendly and it’s not overly crowded here so we had no issues finding a place to sit. I also appreciate them warming up the burritos for us. Parking is on the street and we did pay for parking online. Overall, we highly recommend coming here if you haven’t! We were visiting from Dallas and came back twice on our trip here for the coffee. We also purchased the KEXP blend to bring home with us.
