Dusty Biscuit Beignets
411 S Main St, Fort Worth, TX
Crema's Take
“This Fort Worth spot nails that New Orleans vibe with authentic French Quarter beignets that keep regulars coming back within days of their first visit. Beyond the signature powdered-sugar dusted pastries, they've built serious loyalty with creative seasonal specials and thoughtful touches like crispy bacon tots that earn enthusiastic 10/10s from devoted customers. The friendly service and reasonable prices make it feel less like a trendy cafe and more like that neighborhood gem you're lucky enough to have discovered.”

I am a regular at Dusty Biscuit. I usually do carry out. I appreciate the friendly service and awesome special menu items. Being a Louisiana native, I love the quick, convenient, and creative options! I usually get the B holes since they’re easier to eat, and I love their bayou bacon tots! Some of my favorite special menu items have been the gumbo, boudin egg rolls, hot honey beignet sandwich, cafe au lait iced beignets, and shrimp poboy beignet sliders (not pictured).
I made the mistake of discovering this place too late in my life. In just a few weeks, I’ve already been back five times, and I regret absolutely nothing except not finding it sooner. The beignets are always warm, fluffy, and dangerously good. The classic beignets are perfection, the everything beignets are savory and addictive, the Monte Cristo ones are indulgent in the best way, and the strawberry beignets are basically dessert royalty. And then there are the loaded tots. I don’t say this lightly: they have changed me as a person. Smothered in Creole sauce and rémoulade, topped with bacon bits and green onions, they’re the perfect balance of sweet and heat. I think about them far more often than is reasonable. Also, somehow, all of this comes at prices that feel suspiciously reasonable for how good everything is. The café au lait is smooth, rich, and comforting, and the service is always quick and genuinely friendly ... like they know they’re serving life-altering food and are rooting for your happiness. My heartbreak is that I’m moving out of state in a few weeks. The fact that I can’t pack this place up and take it with me feels deeply personal and unfair. Until then, I’ll be here at least once a week, emotionally preparing for the inevitable heartbreak. Do yourself a favor and go. Your future self will thank you. Your waistline might not, but your soul absolutely will.
I've been here twice within a week, and the food is an easy 10/10! The sweet beignet and crispy bacon tots are absolutely amazing. I've already recommended this place to my coworkers, and so far, not a single complaint. I love discovering hidden gems like this—places I can brag about without hesitation!
Felt like we were in NOLA. We ordered the French Quarter Beignets, which were the classic powdered sugar beignets. It was good, really messy, but not as fluffy as the ones I’ve had in New Orleans. Still pretty yummy. Then we got the Bourbon Street Beignets, which I think I enjoyed more, since it wasn’t as messy. My boyfriend wasn’t a fan of the bacon, but I liked it. It was also glazed and powdered lightly with sugar. Overall a pretty good afternoon snack or dessert.
My second time coming here. I craved beignets when pregnant and this place didn't let me down. Just came back after having my son, still soooo good and great pricing. I love the limited menu items and that they have different specials different times of the year. 10/10 my FAVORITE breakfast/beignet spot
