A fantastic little arcade put together by people who love games. They have some great pinball machines - Godzilla, Dead Pool, King Kong and more. They also have some old school video game cabinet as well and some newer options. Family and kid oriented, but plenty of fun for adults too. Great options of non-alcoholic drinks as well as local craft beer along with some snacks and hot dogs. Great way to spend a few hours!
This place is badass. Awesome coin op games and snacks. Oh and BEER! Brian is a nice dude who knows his stuff when it comes to games and badass movies. Check this place out when you’re in town.
Love this place. All the games were great. Games still cost the same as when i was a kid. Great beer selection for the adults in the room. Drove up from NJ just to check it out and had a blast.
Made our first trip up to Rhinebeck in many years in September. Had been following the FB status updates as High Score was approaching its opening, and when we heard about Porchfest in Rhinebeck, we had two reasons to visit. We gassed up and headed north. Cool town and amazingly cool place. Younger me would have run through a TON of quarters in this place. It didn’t have my all-time favorites (Time Pilot, Gorf, Star Wars), though it did have many of the games I’d played back in the day. The pinball machines seemed of newer vintage, but I don’t know enough about the category to speak with authority. The thing I LOVED to see was the clientele. A bunch of young kids...middle school, I’d guess. Playing games and shouting encouragement at each other. The games of this time frame clearly still had the ability to enthrall, and I felt a little validated. This is a wonderful, clean, family friendly place. Didn’t have quite enough time to spend there, but am already thinking about a group road trip for my next birthday, so we hope to visit again. Great business and wishing them well...
Real classic arcade ambiance! A clean, comfortable, spacious room with a good variety of the classic cabinet video games that I remember and a row of pinball that I noticed had a happy following as well. And they all run on quarters! ATM plus classic quarter changing machine. Plus snacks! It was fun and we'll be back often. Very friendly for my supervised kid.
