Crema's Take

Paréa Coffee Company brings a charming, piano-adorned elegance to Tulsa's coffee scene with a genuinely welcoming atmosphere that makes it feel like a destination rather than just a caffeine stop. Beyond their espresso foundations, they're earning love for creative signature drinks like lavender-matcha lattes and chai tea preparations that appeal to non-coffee drinkers and adventurous sippers alike, though consistency with both drinks and service timing seems to be a work in progress. It's the kind of beautiful, spacious spot that invites you to linger with a laptop or meet a friend, as long as you catch them on a good day.

And this place is such a joke of a shop. I was so excited when I had specialty coffee open up again closer than having to drive downtown. As long as you come in when the staff feels like being there, it's phenomenal. Only twice. Has the coffee been disappointing since they've opened. However, at least once a week the drive-thru that they started opening an hour later just isn't going. Here are some pictures from today with a piece of paper taped to the sign that says drive-thru closed. No explanation on the internet. No explanation on Instagram or any social media. Half the time that I do try to drive through here at 7:00 a.m. nobody is there and I have to call the store to get someone to come to the window. Hopefully at some point someone who takes their job seriously will start working here or the owner will wake up and realize that after church coffee doesn't sustain a shop. I guess for the third time this year I'll go find coffee somewhere else even though this was my first choice.

Came in for the first time, the staff were very nice. The cafe was cute with a lot of seating options. I ordered a matcha with almond milk and lavender. The matcha had a nice color and good flavor. I’d definitely go again!

I try chai tea lattes in every town I visit, so I was excited to try Parea Coffee’s version. I don’t drink coffee, so maybe their coffee is phenomenal…but that’s not what I’m chasing. The chai itself just fell a little flat for me. I’m looking for that punch of chai spice, and this one just didn’t deliver. The flavors were mild and a bit watered down. The atmosphere, though, is wonderful, and the staff are warm and welcoming. I’d definitely come back to enjoy the space and maybe try something else, but the chai tea latte wasn’t quite it for me.

Ordered a s’mores latte. They are out of chocolate mocha so we replaced with white chocolate mocha. Still good! I’ll definitely come back to order again but I’ll ask for less sweet next time. I love novel and seasonal beverages. The coffee shop is larger than I thought. It has high ceilings and cozy quiet vibes.

I visited Paréa Coffee and the place was absolutely beautiful and charming. It has a classic vibe with a lovely piano, and the space feels new and welcoming. We arrived a bit late, but we were warmly welcomed by Ray and Anna — we truly appreciated their hospitality and were very happy with the experience. I originally ordered a flat white, but it wasn’t available, so I got a latte instead. It was average, and I expected something better. Still, I’m looking forward to visiting again and spending more time there.
