Crema's Take
“Sweet Elle Café is a charming neighborhood hideaway with a dreamy outdoor patio where you can linger over creative drinks like their standout matcha with rose foam. Their menu leans toward fresh, made-from-scratch items ideal for a leisurely breakfast or brunch, though be prepared that this Instagram-worthy spot comes with premium pricing that matches its curated aesthetic.”

The place itself looks super cute. But the experience i had wasn’t so great. I ordered a Lox Bagel, and they asked me if I would like that open face (for 7$ extra). I asked what open face meant, and he explained to me that it is the bagel cut in half, opened, and then basically two sandwiches. When I got my order, I only received half a bagel. I went back to ask if they forgot the rest of my order, and then another person told me that this is the whole order. So I just paid nearly 25$ for half a bagel, and also got lied to (because I was told it would be two pieces). I am not sure what you would receive without “open face”, but it doesn’t make sense to me that half a bagel is more expensive than a normal bagel. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast bowl, which was also a bit disappointing. We paid over 50$ for two drinks and two food items, not including a tip. Would not recommend this place.
Great local spot for breakfast, brunch or whenever! Depending on the day parking could be easy because it is tucked in a neighborhood. The menu iteams are all fresh and made on site. I had the cranberry orange scone and tea and it was delightful.
This is a charming little café tucked away on a quiet residential street near Huntington Beach. It has a lovely outdoor patio that’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful neighborhood atmosphere. Everything we tried was delicious, and the matcha latte really stood out—I’m a big fan and would definitely order it again. It’s a cozy, inviting spot that’s easy to love, and I’ll absolutely be coming back.
It's a super cute cafe, the food was mid and leaving flavor, but the drinks were yummy! I had the matcha with rose foam on top and I really liked it! Same as what someone else said though, it came out to $50 for 2 drinks and 2 burritos (the burritos were too small to be worth $15-17). Don't go for food, but definitely get their seasonal drinks!
If you’re looking for breakfast on a budget, this is not the place for you. 2 drinks and 2 food items were $45 before tip. If you’re gluten free, they charge a $5 up-charge for gf bagels. Sorry, but you can’t really call yourself allergen friendly if you’re charging that much for a gluten free substitution. I wouldn’t recommended or come back.
